Rumi x 2, cry, everything is energy, and Abe on childhood issues

# 1 – Lovely image and text….

I am like a seed beneath the soil, waiting for the signs of spring.

~ Rumi

# 2 – Good “advice” from Jeff Foster (

When you are crying, friend,
Forget why you are crying,
And just let tears flow freely.

When you are laughing,
Forget the reason for laughter,
And laugh.

When you are angry,
Just for a moment,
Forget what ‘made’ you angry,
And honour – even celebrate – the raw, burning,
throbbing sensations in your body.
Feel your power!

Come closer.
Be present.
Honour what is alive in you.
Let powerful energies move without a story,
without blame, without judgement, without resistance.
(Yet allow resistance too, if that’s alive in you.)

Know yourself as life –
The unconditional space
for it all.

# 3 – Double dose of Rumi for today with this lovely image and text….Hey, you can’t go wrong with Rumi!

Love is the whole thing. We are only pieces. ~ Rumi

# 4- A mind- and consciousness-expanding read…..

“The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.”

# 5 – Today’s quote from Abe reminded me of how I’ve come to believe/realize that it’s usually easier and quicker to deal with what’s happening currently in our lives, rather than worrying about and getting side-tracked clearing things from our past…..Makes sense since this keeps us in the now, where our true point of power always lies.

You don’t have to go back and deal with childhood issues, because those childhood issues produced a vibration within you that you are still offering — which is producing today issues. You can shift your vibration a whole lot easier when you’re dealing with today issues, than trying to deal with childhood issues. It’s the same vibration. That vibration that was creating childhood issues, now it’s creating today issues. Deal with it in your now. “Which thought feels better? Which thought feels better? Which thought feels better?” –Abraham

  1. Hi Zirah :-) Happy Monday. :-) I look forward to the collections of inspirations and thoughts you put together. :-) <3 They are often very appropriate. :-) I think it is important to honor our emotions of the moment whatever they might be even if we might wish to let them go after. This is something that has taken me a while to understand. It was a pretty rough month from the second week in September to the second week in October in my little corner of the world. I ended up with a cold which I don't think was a coincidence. :-) Old patterns given a current time expression. I could see them playing out and found myself wondering what now? How to I change these story lines I no longer want in my life? Keep on clearing out the energy when it shows up and spend as much time outside in nature which has tremendous healing power for me. And honor the emotions. Don't get trapped in the space of wishing they were already gone and it was already fixed. And love isn't about pleasing other people. Love is much greater than all of this. Love is like the changing colors in the morning sky at sunrise. Vast. All encompassing. When I watch the sunrise on the big canvas of the sky here, I sometimes do cry. It can be so beautiful. All is well, it says. Here I am again to light your day and remind you of the glory of life. Stop for a moment and breath it in. :-) <3

    1. I like that your posts and mine give us a way to keep in touch since you have not been active in the FB group. Very insightful and beautifully said comment you shared here.

p.s. I’m sure there were mental/emotional components to experiencing a cold, but there’s always addressing things physically, too. I have found that it’s great to have some of Earthie Mama’s Master Tonic on hand for all sorts of things, especially as we head into the colder months.

      1. I still haven’t sorted out the Facebook and Mindvalley issues. I was thinking yesterday how it is that the list of things to take care of seems to keep getting longer no matter how many of them I get done! I spent yesterday on some of the more immediate ones. I ran out of time before I got to working on photos for a post. Hopefully, I will have another one up soon. I have collected some fun photos over the last couple of weeks. There is still a little window of opportunity before the cold weather settles in. I was surprised by the cold. It was the old-fashioned kind that had me out of circulation for about 10 days and not really feeling all better for a few more. I am not really sure what happened. I slipped on my germ prevention attention when I was out and about apparently and had trouble sleeping because of emotional upset. I haven’t had one of them in a few years for which I am very thankful!. I will look into the tonic you linked to. Thank you. I use Dr. Schulze Cold and Flu which helped, but it seemed like the cold had settled in before I realized I had it.

I meant to mention in the first comment that I found some really good apples last week. :-) It was a kind I hadn’t had before. They are called Ambrosia apples. They had the organic ones at the Whole Foods here the last two weeks.

      2. I had to laugh….I can totally relate to a “to do” list that just seems to get longer, instead of shorter, when you do things on it. I have been volunteering recently in the garden and beekeeping project at a community center that’s just getting started in my neighborhood. Very enjoyable, but does take up time, so less progress made on crossing other things off my list.

And, yes, if you can do something before a cold really takes hold, that helps a lot. Otherwise it’s almost like you have to just ride it out. Some people taking the Master Tonic have said they no longer get colds and flus if they use it on a regular basis. It’s expensive, but too much trouble for me to make on my own, plus I got some when it was on sale, which helped a little. :-) And tons of vitamin C is capable of wiping out almost anything, if you use high enough doses frequently enough. There’s a post on that, too, at Self-help Health. Pretty amazing some of the things it’s cured for people, even though we often don’t consider using it because there are so many other new superfoods/super supplements around these days.
