Freedom, privilege, New Moon, breathe in, What’s New, and Abe

TIPS FOR TODAY:

# 1 – Sad, but true….

“Faced with a freedom that is absolute, a freedom that leaves no room for separation from the whole, most people will compulsively contract back into a condition of struggle where they can maintain a familiar sense of self. This means that when actually given the chance, most people will choose to struggle and remain separate, rather than to face the austerity of a freedom that shatters any sense of separateness. It is only when you desire to be free more than you desire the security of a familiar sense of self that you spontaneously move into a freedom that is final and beyond struggle.” ~ Adyashanti

# 2 – I love some of the articles at Moon Circles about astrological events and I especially like this one about the Full Moon Sat night/Sun morning (depending on where you live), not only because it gives insight into certain things going on right now in the outer world, but also focuses on the emotion/energy of anger….something that is often under-appreciated, misunderstood, misused and/or repressed/subjugated. All the anger and viciousness coming out in the political campaign, in the opponents, their followers and the American people in general (myself included) is a great example of what happens when anger has been repressed, denied or gone unrecognized for yrs and then comes spewing out in all directions……

“The path to action is not so straightforward at this New Moon, though. Mars – Aries’ ruling planet – is moving toward a rendezvous with Pluto in Capricorn, with this volatile combination in a powerful t-square to the Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter in Libra, and the Moon and Uranus in Aries. It’s no wonder the U.S. presidential election has devolved into an unholy mixture of pissiness and physical intimidation. Half the sky is at war with the other half.

But look deep beneath the surface of fear and frustration, and you may be able to locate Capricorn’s voice of cool pragmatism. “Go ahead and take action,” Capricorn advises, “But first, cool off and make a plan.”

# 4 – From Tama Kieves……

tama-kieves

Today I breathe out everything I think I should be.
I breathe in everything I am meant to be.
I let go of false, invalidating conditioning.
I breathe in the certain.
My real power comes when I am my real self.
Today, I breathe out everything I think I should be. I breathe in everything I am.

# 6 – And a good reminder from Abraham…..

The Universe is abundant with everything that you want. It’s not testing you. It’s benevolently providing for you. But you are the orchestrater. You are the definer, and you do it through your joyous anticipation. If there is an emotion that you are wanting to foster, that would serve you very, very well, it is positive expectation. It is excited anticipation. –Abraham

  1. Hi Zirah :-) Thanks for the inspiration! :-) <3 I love the photos you have included this time: the silhouetted tree and the little girl under the starry sky. I have pressed the mute button on the election. Winter is approaching. I wish to take advantage of all the good weather days to soak up the sunshine and breath in the fresh air. Today, it is cloudy with rain approaching. Tomorrow should be an outdoor kind of day. I hope you have joy-filled weekend. :-) <3

    1. Thanks for the nice comment and wishes for a joy-filled weekend. Same to you, too. It’s bright and sunny here, so I am getting ready to go outside and enjoy the nice weather while it is here. Hopefully you’ll have some sunshine tomorrow, although I sort of envy the rain…..we could use some here.
