# 5 – Today’s quote from Abe reminded me of how I’ve come to believe/realize that it’s usually easier and quicker to deal with what’s happening currently in our lives, rather than worrying about and getting side-tracked clearing things from our past…..Makes sense since this keeps us in the now, where our true point of power always lies.

You don’t have to go back and deal with childhood issues, because those childhood issues produced a vibration within you that you are still offering — which is producing today issues. You can shift your vibration a whole lot easier when you’re dealing with today issues, than trying to deal with childhood issues. It’s the same vibration. That vibration that was creating childhood issues, now it’s creating today issues. Deal with it in your now. “Which thought feels better? Which thought feels better? Freedom, privilege, New Moon, breathe in, What’s New, and Abe




# 1 – Sad, but true….

The Impact of Awakening

# 2 – I love some of the articles at Moon Circles about astrological events and I especially like this one about the Full Moon Sat night/Sun morning (depending on where you live), not only because it gives insight into certain things going on right now in the outer world, but also focuses on the emotion/energy of anger….something that is often under-appreciated, misunderstood, misused and/or repressed/subjugated. All the anger and viciousness coming out in the political campaign, in the opponents, their followers and the American people in general (myself included) is a great example of what happens when anger has been repressed, denied or gone unrecognized for yrs and then comes spewing out in all directions……

Stress is your narrow focus on a mental list of ‘things to do’, the imaginary burden of ‘all the things that haven’t been done yet’.

Stress always involves future-thinking, a forgetting of your true Ground – this moment, here, now.

When your focus shifts from what is NOT present, to what IS present, from ‘lack’ to what is abundantly here, and instead of trying to complete a list of a thousand things, you simply do the next thing, the one thing that presents itself now, with your full attention and passion and presence, lists get completed effortlessly – and even if they don’t, creative solutions are found, without stress.

Relax. You are not the doer.

# 6 – Deepak Chopra is offering another one of his 21-day meditation series starting Oct 31st. The focus of this series is on cultivating inner peace (boy, how timely is that?!). I’ve participated in almost all the previous events, and the last two he did were my faves, so I have high hopes for this one. Just listening to his soothing, centering voice is enough to put me in meditation mode, and he always provides such gems of insight and wisdom…….

My Wish For You


I’m not Jewish, but I just received this in a newsletter from Tama Kieves and thought it was perfect for sharing here. It’s a fairly long read, but very inspiring, uplifting and centering…..and what I wish for us all….



Dear Beautiful Spirit,

It’s the beginning of Rosh Hashanah, the New Year in the Jewish tradition, and since it’s always a wise choice to begin again, I’m making you all honorary– or honored– Jews.

Let’s talk fresh new life.

Rosh Hashanah is often celebrated by eating apples dipped in honey, to celebrate sweetness in life. I want to help you dip into honey.

We can all point fingers at what hurts right now. We can all drown in the riptides of the daily news. The media hawks fear at us. But I am appealing to your deeper intelligence. The human soul is bright with capacities. No matter what is going on, you have the opportunity to experience the joy of remembering who you really are.

I’ve always been moved by Viktor Frankl’s account in Man’s Search for Meaning of the kindness he witnessed in the concentration camps of the Holocaust—“men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread.” These individuals chose to be incredible human beings. They chose who they would be in this world. They did not allow conditions to choose for them.

This is the sweetness I wish for all of us. Where are you holding yourself back?

Your spirit is made of the thickest honey, a confection stronger than you know. You may not feel safe or triumphant or complete. But please don’t wait to express who you really are. The world can’t give you that permission. There will never be a better time. I keep seeing that it’s not the right circumstances that help me to appreciate my life. It’s my appreciation of myself and those around me that helps me to stand on holy ground, where I am.

Where can you be sweet to yourself right now?

You have been on a long journey. It doesn’t matter if you have many steps to go. This is a moment of celebrating your life because this moment is your life. it’s not about what comes later or what you think you haven’t accomplished. It’s right now.

Let’s begin again. Let’s drop our expectations and frustrations. Let’s love who we are and where we are, and let’s be kinder to those around us because it feels good to be who we really are, and not who we are when we’re in fear.

Dip your life in honey. And may you and your loved ones be written into the Book of True Life.
