Zippy's tips & picks for a happier, healthier YOU!

Too sweet, great secret, dancing with your dreams, true healer, healthy recipes, great deal, and Abe

# 1 – Too sweet!

# 2 –  Love the part about “what I want also wants me, is looking for me…..”

# 3 – Great image and text……

Zirah B L Hearn's photo.

“A true healer does not heal you; she simply reflects back to you your innate capacity to heal. She is a reflector, or a loving transparency.

A true teacher does not teach you; she does not see you as inherently separate from her, or less than her. She simply reflects back your own inner knowing, and reminds you of the vastness of your being. She is a mirror, a signpost.

And love is the space in which all of this is possible; love heals, and we learn best in a loving field, no threat of failure, no punishment.”- Jeff Foster

# 4 – And this quote from Abe is an interesting tie-in with Tip # 3…..

True healers know that wellness is the order of the day, so they do not allow themselves, even for a moment, to see anything other than that. So, the power of the healer is in the power to influence the one who needs to be healed into a vibration that allows the healing that they are summoning. (that they could get, even without the healer, but they can get faster with a healer’s influence) –Abraham

# 5 – Be sure to check out the latest post at Self-help Health for two delicious sounding recipes, a great deal going on at Raw Food World, news about The Soul of Healing Summit and more…..

# 6 – And to end on, a great stimulating, insight-filled post from Stephanie Raffelock titled Dancing With Your Dreams that starts off with this…….

Second Chapters–I know them well. The invention and reinvention of your self, each time trying to get life a little more right than the last time. A longing goes with that, an undercurrent that flutters in the heart that one day all of the jagged pieces of your jigsaw puzzled life will somehow make sense, fit together and reveal the big picture. I cannot mark the day that the picture came into focus, or a specific time where I wondered what would happen to me if I just forgave myself? There was not a celebratory realization or enlightenment. No, the process was slow and tedious, painful and sweet. Then one morning as I sat on the couch with my tea, staring into the fire, I realized that I was living the life that I wanted to be living. And somehow the dense forest of sufferings and sorrows, the thickets of doubts that had tripped me up, parted to reveal a light that shone on hard-won satisfaction for the trails that I had traversed with some awkwardness and some grace . . . and I knew that this was my time to dance. Inspired action, ACIM, living well, health news, free events, and Abe

# 1 – A good one from Ellyssa Campbell. Reminds of how so much of the marketing, business, and life strategies most people adhere to are ego, not spirit-based.

# 2 – An excerpt from Lesson 156 of ACIM. One of my favorite passages….

“There is a light in you which cannot die; whose presence is so holy
that the world is sanctified because of you. All things that live bring
gifts to you, and offer them in gratitude and gladness at your feet.
The scent of flowers is their gift to you. The waves bow down before
you, and the trees extend their arms to shield you from the heat,
and lay their leaves before you on the ground that you may walk in
softness, while the wind sinks to a whisper round your holy head.”

# 3 – This is a great one from Tao & Zen…..

from Tao and Zen

“The secret to living well and longer is: eat half, walk double, laugh triple, and love without measure.” ~Tibetan Proverb

# 4 – And in light of the events in Orlando and elsewhere, this seems like a very timely offering from The Shift Network and Andrew Harvey…..

There’s a reason why Rumi, one of the most important Sufi mystics, is the most beloved poet in America. It comes down to one word: love.

Andrew Harvey, mystic, scholar, founder of the Institute of Sacred Activism, deeply believes that the “Sufi Way of the Beloved” holds the key to an ecstatic experience of love… and just may hold the key to create true and lasting peace in the world.

And, on Saturday, June 18th, he will deliver you into the heart of Sufism to receive the blessing — and experience the initiatory power — of this ancient sacred lineage on a free teleseminar called Discovering the Sufi Way of the the Beloved: Ecstasy & Surrender Through the Mystical Teachings of Islam.

If you’ve ever been curious about the noble and tender power of the Sufi path, Andrew Harvey is an ideal guide who can bring it vividly to life. He’s not only a scholar of many major faiths, he’s been a long-time student, translator and initiate of Sufi lineages.

Not only will you shift your whole understanding of Sufism and discover the heart of this profound lineage, you’ll also gain an understand into polarizing Islamic concepts such as “jihad” in a whole new way.

You learn more and can claim your free seat here. There will be a recording, if you can’t make the live event.

# 6 – And some ruminating material from Abe to end on….

As you practice your more positive, better-feeling story, in time your pleasure will become the dominant vibration within you, and then as you couple your pleasure with your means of earning, the two will blend perfectly and enhance each other.
There is no better way to earn money than to do the things that you love to do. Money can flow into your experience through endless avenues. It is not the choice of the craft that limits the money that flows—but only your attitude toward money.–Abraham

“To Feel” list, unlikely animal friends, balance, soul, “postive” thinking, free health events, and Abe

# 1 – Some good stimulation from Dr. Sue Morter….And I can so relate to a “To Didn’t” list :-)……

What’s on your “To Feel” List?

Now that you’ve mastered an ability to identify everything that could possibly ever need to get “done,” and probably put most of it on your “To Do” list at one time or another (often rolling them over from one version to the next because they “To Didn’t” happen)…perhaps it’s time to consider why that might be…

We manifest what we feel with zest! Gotta FEEL it. In your Core. And it’s gotta be juicy!

So make a “To Feel” list and begin checking off the internal experiences you spend the day feeling regardless of your circumstances and watch your world shift.

Your vibration changes and your surroundings can’t resist!

What would you feel today if you could feel anything you choose and you knew you couldn’t fail?

# 2- A great way to put a smile on your face….pictures and stories about unlikely animal friends….

The Cat and Her Squirrel

Chestnut the baby squirrel was found abandoned and perishing by a woman taking her kids to school one day. The woman scooped up the squirrel and took him back home, where he refused to eat. Her husband then proposed that they put the squirrel in the mix with the litter of kittens their cat had just given birth to. Luckily the squirrel fit right in and began to nurse on the mama Cat! Now he’s just another healthy member of the family.

# 3 – Soul in varying forms….

“In mythos and fairy tales, deities and other great spirits test the hearts of humans by showing up in various forms that disguise their divinity.
They show up in robes, rags, silver sashes, or with muddy feet. They show up with skin like old wood, or in scales made of rose petal, as a frail child, as a lime-yellow old woman, as a man who cannot speak, or as an animal who can.

“The great powers are testing to see if humans have yet learned to
recognize the greatness of soul in all its varying forms.”

– Clarissa Pinkola Estés

# 4 – A good reminder from Abe….

# 5 – Check out the latest post at Self-help Health about the power of words to change how your brain functions and some free alternative health events going on……

# 6 – HA! Yes…..another good reminder. And it works well w/ the Self-help Health article about being mindful of what you think…..

You’re picky about the car you drive. You’re picky about what you wear. You’re picky about what you put in your mouth. We want you to be pickier about what you think.—Abraham
