PICK OF THE DAY:
Love, love, love it!
UNCONDITIONAL, by Jennifer Welwood
Willing to experience aloneness,
I discover connection everywhere;
Turning to face my fear,
I meet the warrior who lives within;
Opening to my loss,
I gain the embrace of the universe;
Surrendering into emptiness,
I find fullness without end.
Each condition I flee from pursues me.
Each condition I welcome transforms me
And becomes itself transformed
Into its radiant jewel-like essence.
I bow to the one who has made it so,
Who has crafted this Master Game;
To play it is pure delight,
To honor its form — true devotion.

And I love this idea…..
A Givebox is a cupboard where people can put out stuff they don’t need anymore, that others are free to take. The intention behind these Giveboxes are that they encourage neighborhood communicating and exchanging and much more.
TIPS FOR TODAY:
# 1 – When being unbecoming is a good thing :-)…..
# 2 – An excerpt from David Thomas Nicol’s Subtle Activism…..
“Subtle activism can be understood as a set of practices that allow us to connect, in the depth of our being, with our love for the world and our longing for it to reflect the highest potentials of human nature. Although being in touch with our hope for a more loving or peaceful world can make us more vulnerable, it is also the most powerful force for change we know. Subtle activism represents the intention to cultivate this force as a transformative presence in the world. Although countless concrete initiatives will of course also be needed to restore our planet to balance, underlying and informing all of these actions is a shift in consciousness involving a deeper awareness of our underlying interconnectedness. That shift can, and indeed must, take place in a very subtle way in the depths of the human psyche.
Subtle Activism envisions the emergence of postmodern or integral expressions of spirituality that help to re-establish links between non dogmatic forms of spiritual consciousness and modern public awareness—not through overt action in the sociopolitical or even intellectual arena, but via actual practices that enact the connection at subtle levels of consciousness.
One of the most meaningful tasks of our times, then, may be to evoke experiences of planetary communion of such sublime joy that an unspoken vow is made, from the most intimate heart of humanity, to persevere through the trials ahead, to heal the wounds of our collective past, and to accept the pain that must accompany the birth of planetary awareness.” [End of excerpt]
# 3 – And some stimulation from Abraham to end on…..
It does not matter whether you are living in a country where there are some frequent terrorist attacks, or in a country where there are random acts of violence. It does not matter what the culture is — it is only the feeling of vulnerability that ever puts you into a vibrational harmony with that which you fear. When you realize that by working to achieve your feeling of Well-being, it is then impossible for you to ever rendezvous with anything other than Well-being — that is the only place that freedom will ever be. –Abraham
