TIPS FOR TODAY:

# 1 – Authenticity is where it’s at! Plus, isn’t what’s “positive” just a judgment call anyway? What I perceive as positive may seem negative to someone else. And often trying to stay positive causes us to repress and suppress things that need to be acknowledged, felt and released. But then that’s just my point of view. :-)

# 2 – This great post from ladyinthehouse.net fits in nicely with the first tip because kids are so darn authentic, until, that is, parents and society unfortunately train them to be otherwise…

# 3 – Hmm, I never thought of it that way…. What may seem like a failure or negative experience is really a blessing when viewed from another perspective.

# 4 – And I love the sayings/poetry/wisdom of Rumi, so I’m happy to know about this upcoming free event sponsored by The Shift Newtwork…

It’s amazing but true: a 13th century Sufi poet from Turkey is now rated the most popular poet of our time.  And it’s no wonder, for as we face a multi-faceted global crisis, the words of Rumi hold precious wisdom to help us make it through our collective challenges in a way that no other poetry can.

If you would like to deepen your awareness of the spiritual power of Rumi’s poetry to liberate your soul and help us navigate these times,  then sign up for this event on Wednesday, September 25th. Host Andrew Harvey, a renowned author of more than 40 books including Rumi and The Way of Passion, will be presenting Renaissance: How His Wisdom Can Liberate Your Soul and Our World.

In this special free call event, Harvey, one of the world’s most passionate Rumi mystic-scholars, will reveal the sacred significance of Rumi’s life and work, illuminating why his poems are penetrating the heart of the world as never before.

If you haven’t heard Andrew before, you’re in for a real treat. Marianne Williamson says about him: “Every age has its teachers, who keep the eternal truths alive for all of us. And when a generation is very, very lucky, it encounters a teacher so illumined that the words he delivers must be illumined as well. In the case of Andrew Harvey, the light he sheds is like a meteor burst across the inner sky.”

Even if you are not able to attend live, go ahead and register so you can get access to the recording later.

# 5 – Here’s something else free that sounds worth checking out….

Evolutionary Wealth is offering a free Consciousness Upgrade: September 2013 “Reboot” to assist people in unhooking from the matrix and coming into alignment with the truth of who they really are. The event is on Sunday, Sept. 22nd at 7pm EDT and you can sign up at the following link to receive event details, plus a reminder of the call and an MP3 of the presentation:

# 6 – And it’s good to know that sometimes 55% is good enough :-)

The things that we would be asking ourselves is, “What proportion of my day am I in vibrational harmony with my desires, which means, how much of my day am I happy, glad, eager, fulfilled, satisfied, complimentary? And what percentage of my day am I ornery, irritated, frustrated, or blaming?” And you don’t have to do 100%, you don’t have to do 90%, you don’t have to do 80%. If you could even get around 55% feeling better, than not feeling so good — you’d have significant movement in what begins to happen in your experience.—Abraham

I am a 21 yr. old Victoria's Secret model with an IQ of 278 and was recently featured on the cover of a Fortune 500 magazine as the world's first bizillionaire.....:-) Oops! Guess that was in a past life. In THIS lifetime I am the author of two books, one on effective visioning and Self-awareness, and the other on detoxing the body and improving overall health. I've also spent some time dabbling in watercolors, putting together two websites (www.allonetogether.com and www.evolutionmadeeasier.com) on conscious living, writing two blogs (Evolution Made Easier and Self-help Health), and doing several types of energy work. Yadda, yadda, blah, blah. :-) Anyway, I love when I find some new teaching, inspirational quote, enlightening information, health-promoting protocol, or other resource that ends up having a positive impact on my life. And I really enjoy passing along my "finds" so that others might benefit from them as well. In fact, that's the main reason I created my websites and blogs. So I hope you enjoy and make use of the information, articles, videos and other resources I'm drawn to share. And may it all somehow support you in creating a happier, healthier, more abundant life for yourself and those you care about! Visit Zirah (B. L.)'s profile on Pinterest.
