Advice from Abraham, animals as humans, GMO shopping guide & labeling, and more

PICKS OF THE DAY:

Here’s some great “advice” from Abraham on how to make the evolution process easier…

“If we were standing in your physical shoes, we would do these things everyday and then anything else you have time for.

We would meditate for 15 minutes, every day.

Which means we would quiet our mind with the simple intention of allowing our cork to float

We would go outside, no matter what the weather, and we would move around in it in appreciation of this planet. We would look up and around and we would find things to acknowledge, and we would talk about them right out loud.

Esther walks through her gardens and says to everything, “You are my favorite. You are my favorite. You are my favorite. You are my favorite.

You are my favorite stone on the pathway. You are my favorite bird in the tree. You are my favorite flower in bloom. You are my favorite flower not in bloom. You are my favorite tree. You are my favorite bush. You are my favorite frog. You are my favorite frog, you kept me awake all night, but you are still my favorite frog.”

So, first thing meditate, second thing spend more time outside.

Third thing, we would buy a notebook. We would call it my book of positive aspects and we would fill at least three, four, five is even better, pages of positive aspects. Five different subjects and write the positive aspects of it, training your vibration into that upward place.

And then there is one last thing, that if we were standing in your physical shoes, we would do every single day.

We would look upward and outward, best if you do it outside or standing at a window, and we would acknowledge that there are universal forces that are focused right at you.

We would acknowledge, by calling it by name, if you have a name that you like, and we would say, “I acknowledge that I am the object of your positive attention and I am appreciating your continual gaze on behalf of my well-being. And today, no matter where I am, no matter where I am going, no matter what I am doing, and no matter whom I am doing it with, I will be in conscious awareness that you too are there with me. Appreciating me, supporting me, assisting me, acknowledging me, inspiring me, guiding me, having fun with me, acknowledging me, supporting me, assisting me, inspiring me, helping me, guiding me, aware of me, loving me, showing me, inspiring me, guiding me, helping me, uplifting me, showing me….

Get into an endless loop of that acknowledgement and watch what begins to happen in your life as soon as this day.

Your Vortex is filled to the brim with specific request that you have put there and you are deserving of the realization of. And it is time for those realizations to be flooding into your experience at a rate that will astonish those who surround you.. It is time for you to remember what you have put there and to bring it forward, active into your today experience.” Abraham-Hicks – Sacramento, 2013

And nothing eases the evolutionary process like a good laugh, so my “Pick # 2” is something to lighten your mood…..animals doing a good job of being human.

But I like this kind of news!

# 5 – Interesting perspective…

This “underdeveloped” country is not inappropriate in any way. It has different desires and different standards, and it is not lesser than — it is just different. We did not all come to do it the same way. We did not all come to be alike. We came as a diverse bunch of Non-Physical Energies wanting different experiences.—Abraham

Wi-fi experiment, interesting point of view, chocolate walnut ice cream, Anita Moorjani and Abraham

TIPS FOR THE DAY:

# 1- Here’s a blog post that focuses on one of the most helpful tools from Access Consciousness…..seeing everything as just an “interesting point of view.” This one simple tool and the shift in consciousness it provides can be life-changing. Really!

http://strategicboardessentials.com/blog/2012/12/26/interesting-point-of-view

# 2 – Wow, if you use a cell phone (I think I’m the only person left on the planet who doesn’t) or have wi-fi in your house or work environment, here’s something you should see…

http://www.mnn.com/health/healthy-spaces/blogs/student-science-experiment-finds-plants-wont-grow-near-wi-fi-router

BTW, be sure to read my blog post titled EMFs, Your Health & Vibes Up for some ingenious ways to help off-set radiation from cell phones, wi-fi, cars, etc.

# 3 – Check out this yummy and nutritious dessert recipe I recently featured on my Self-help Health blog that could actually help you prevent Alzheimer’s.  Sort of like having your cake (in this case ice cream) and eating it, too? :-)

http://selfhelphealth.wordpress.com/2013/05/27/ice-cream-good-nutrition-yes/

# 4 – Don’t worry, be happy…

“When we’re true to ourselves, we become instruments of truth for the planet. Because we’re all connected, we touch the lives of everyone around us, who then affect others. Our only obligation is to be the love we are and allow our answers to come from within in the way that’s most appropriate for us.

Finally, I can’t stress enough how important it is to enjoy yourself and not take yourself or life too seriously. One of the biggest flaws with many traditional spiritual systems is that they give you such a somber outlook. Although you know that I abhor creating doctrines, if I ever had to create a set of tenets for a spiritual path to healing, number one on my list would be to make sure to laugh as often as possible throughout every single day—and preferably laugh at myself. This would be hands down over and above any form of prayer, meditation, chanting, or diet reform. Day-to-day problems never seem as big when viewed through a veil of humor and love.

In this age of information technology, we’re bombarded with news seemingly at the speed of light. We’re living in an age of high stress and fear, and in the midst of trying to protect ourselves from everything we think is “out there,” we’ve forgotten to enjoy ourselves and to take care of what’s inside.

Our life is our prayer. It’s our gift to this universe, and the memories we leave behind when we someday exit this world will be our legacy to our loved ones. We owe it to ourselves and to everyone around us to be happy and to spread that joy around.

If we can go through life armed with humor and the realization that we are love, we’ll already be ahead of the game. Add a box of good chocolates into the mix, and we’ve really got a winning formula!” Anita Moorjani from Dying To Be Me ♥

# 5 – And a little stimulation from Abraham to end on…

“We would never move forward in the face of negative emotion. There are many people who would teach you otherwise. They say you’ve got to face fear to get over it. And all they do is desensitize themselves to the point that they get themselves into situations where they have no idea what’s going on, and the end of them comes rather abruptly… And then everyone calls them brave.”—Abraham

Bucky knows best, new use for cotton, Miracles Manual, lunar eclipse, and Eckhart Tolle

TIPS FOR TODAY:

# 1 – I guess this tip could be titled “Bucky Knows Best!” :-)

# 2- Yea! More good news for the environment about an innovative way to clean up oil spills…

http://www.care2.com/causes/a-new-solution-for-oil-spills-youre-wearing-it.html

# 3 –  You can sign up for a free pdf of Dr. Joe Vitale’s Miracles Manual here…

http://www.miraclesmanual.com/

# 4 – Great input from Eckhart Tolle…

“Another benefit of the practice of body awareness is a great strengthening of the immune system. The more consciousness you bring into the body, the stronger the immune system becomes. It is as if every cell awakens and rejoices. The body loves your attention. It is also a potent form of self-healing. Most illnesses creep in when you are not present in the body. If the master is not present in the house, all kinds of shady characters will take up residence there. When you inhabit your body, it will be hard for unwanted guests to enter.”

It is not only your physical immune system that becomes strengthened; your psychic immune system is greatly enhanced as well. The latter protects you from the negative mental-emotional force fields of others, which are highly contagious. Inhabiting the body protects you not by putting up a shield, but by raising the frequency vibration of your total energy field, so that anything that vibrates at a lower frequency, such as fear, anger, depression, and so on, now exists in what is virtually a different order of reality. It doesn’t enter your field of consciousness anymore, or if it does you don’t need to offer any resistance to it because it passes right through you. Please don’t just accept or reject what I am saying. Put it to the test.” ~ Eckhart Tolle, from The Power of Now

# 5 – And an update from Henry Seltzer at astrograph.com about the lunar eclipse and other astrological happenings…

Friday evening’s Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse is an exciting one, the last of three eclipses in this early spring time frame, taking place just a few days following the most recent installment of the perfect square between Uranusand Pluto in Cardinal signs, and strongly highlighting as well both Saturn andNeptune in close trine with each other. All four outer planets including Saturnare therefore very much emphasized at this time. Those born with sensitive points in their natal chart at around 4-12 degrees of any sign are most directly affected, as one or more of these powerhouse planets will likely square, conjunct or oppose such placements. As far as Sun Sign, this means everyone born within a few days of the first of the month, either at nearly the end or in the first few days of his or her birth month. Pretty much everyone will feel the intensity to some extent as we head into another summer of UranusPluto, the hallmark in fact of this entire decade that I like to call the “Turbulent Teens.”

All four of these planetary archetypes connote the difficult acceptance of a process of radical change, although from different angles. Saturn, the farthest planet actually visible without instrumentation and the only one known to the ancients, works upon you by a process of extreme limitation. You see clearly where your responsibility lies, and there is no escape. This seems dire, but certainly at times circumstances do conspire to inform us that there is one path for us to take, one way out, and although not necessarily pleasant it will be the road with the long-term reward of lessons learned and wisdom regained for the next stage of our journey.

Neptune is found in forming trine to Saturn — and at the focal point of a close T-square from this eclipse Sunand Moon in opposition to each other. While the trine aspect ameliorates the collision of values represented by this combination, these energies are basically antithetical. Neptune, extremely emphasized by this lunar eclipse, has an intensely transformative component just as Pluto has, and works by dissolving situations that it no longer makes sense to hold onto. This is potentially a very idealistic, and also confusing period, with a tendency for spacing out. You are distracted by the ineffable potential, far beyond the physical. You might be required to simply hold on, putting one foot ahead of the other, without really understanding where your road is leading you, trusting in the guidance of the surrounding universe to somehow get it right when your own sense of existing knowledge fails you. There is a mystery invoked, and an implicit reminder that we do not know the whole truth, perhaps not even a very sizable portion of the truth, of what we are facing and of what we are actually all about.

Then there is Uranus the enlightener as well as the trickster, surprising us constantly and providing a deeper sense of intuition than conscious awareness affords. A sense of what you are going through is available by this occult means, even as you resist it. The secret here is to remain as open as you can to possibility. Plutocombines with Uranus to blast away the impediments to getting on with necessary changes, either by a sense of inevitable realization, or, once subtlety has failed to move you, by more extreme measures. The negativity implied by Saturn wants to make this about difficulty: “I can’t wait for this to be over.” But the wise person deep inside you knows that, somehow, all this pain is the ache of birth and has underlying it the tenderness of dawning delivery.

The Sabian symbols for this Lunar Eclipse Sun and Moon reflect back on the outer planet energies with which they also strongly connect. For the Sun, in the fifth degree of Gemini, we have: “A radical magazine” for which Marc Edmond Jones states: “This is a symbol of the necessary element of change in human affairs, and of the extent to which the remote and … the entirely potential … will have its full and functioning part in any immediate reality with which an individual may be seeking to come to terms.” The opposite degree is the fifth ofSagittarius, “An old owl in a tree” for which he references: “deeper and private potentialities,” while Dane Rudhyar adds that “the owl functions lucidly in the night aspect of existence.” I also like the way that Robert Hunter puts all of this: “Row, Jimmy, row. / Gonna get there, I don’t know. / Seems a common way to go – / Get down and row, row, row, row, row.”

So while the road is rocky and the height to which it leads more than a bit cold and bleak, it is comforting to recognize that the path that the cosmos is now asking you to tread will prove long-term rewarding, and ultimately necessary for your continued well-being.

Peace, magic mushrooms, sustainable man, Arc of Light, and Abraham

TIPS FOR TODAY:

# 1 – Something to keep in mind…

# 2 – Oh I love hearing news like this! Not only are we starting to recognize theamazing healing properties of certain mushrooms, it turns out that little schroomies could be the eco-friendly answer to some major environmental issues…

http://screen.yahoo.com/more-than-mere-magic-mushrooms-28923764.html

# 3 – For the next 24 hours you can experience Arc of Light for free (BTW, I’m listening to it as I type this and it’s lovely!)…

This personal attunement music was conceived and performed around the Spring vernal equinox, on which day and night are of equal length. This highly charged event represents the continued rebirth of nature, both physically and spiritually. The intent of Arc of Light is to remind ourselves of our connection to our higher source and our need to heal and uplift the consciousness of the universe.

This bio-sonic music is performed on sacred global instruments and and is tuned and correlated to the lower and upper octaves of electro magnetic radiation. This incorporates color (light), fragrance, as well as the movements of the planets and other geo-physical phenomenon. By utilizing instruments for their psycho-spiritual properties, Brian is able to elicit the power of emotion, resonance and entrainment, thus developing a synergistic approach to bring about the coherence of our Human Energy Field.

This Bio-Sonic music can re-pattern our brains and nervous system, as well as the endocrine glands and corresponding chakras.  Arc of Light acts as a wave guide for consciousness with the power to slow down of time and increase our awareness of our true selves.

This Bio-Sonic album comes in 2 parts, both 30 minutes long. Today you can hear one part, Passage of Peace, for FREE

The album contains no brainwave entrainment – can be heard anytime, anyplace …and by anyone!

To listen for free (next 24 hours), just go here.

# 4 – A stimulating, thought-provoking little video titled Sustainable Man VS The Federal Reserve

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ovuiP_Ws2p0&feature=share

# 5 – And a little Abe to end on….

When you are really in the flow with your Inner Being, ideas come easily—they are implemented easily. It’s fun while you are in the process of them, and it doesn’t matter how they unfold; and nothing can go wrong, and it doesn’t matter if you don’t get it done, it’s just fun to do it. Your Inner Being feels no limit. So, anything that feels like limits is something that you have self-imposed.—Abraham

Mother Nature, animal story, astrology update, Abraham and more

PICK OF THE DAY:

Nothing like a little taste of Mother Nature to uplift and inspire. A feast for the eyes and soul…

TIPS FOR TODAY:

# 1-  A heart-warming story about the difference one person made in two dogs lives and a way you can support the cause…

http://www.care2.com/causes/mother-dog-and-her-puppy-saved-by-american-diplomat-near-congo-river.html

# 2 – An insightful article from Tami Brunk at astrologyforearthrenewal.com about the potent period we are in right now and the astrological forces at play…

Uranus & Pluto Exact Today

by ADMIN on MAY 19, 2013

Are you feeling the intensity yet? Have you experienced anything unusual in the past few days or week? Thank Uranus and Pluto—they have been rapidly approaching a square, which will be exact today (Monday, May 20) at 3:02 pm MDT. This is big news, very big. It is one of those massive cycles that we can look back on in a decade and say yes—this was the period that initiated the most revolutionary, transformational changes in our world.

Goddess CelebratingThe cycle began with the first exact square between Pluto and Uranus on June 24, 2012. It will officially end with the final exact square in March of 2015. Yet the dynamic is felt several years prior and after, much as the Pluto Uranus conjunctions of 1965-1966 marked the center of one of the tumultuous and transformative eras in modern history.

This Uranus Pluto square is, in fact, the second movement of that ’65-66 cycle. We look back and the 60’s now and see an era of widespread awakening and upheaval—as well as great polarization between those who were waking up to the breakdown of our modern civilization and claiming a new path forward—and those who feared change and upheaval, favoring security and the status quo.

We live in a similar moment, after 50 years wrestling with the deeper questions that emerged at that time. Pluto asserts that we must face what we have most deeply feared, that we must collectively continue this process of death and rebirth, a composting of modern humanity’s assemblage point. Pluto is in Capricorn and so we are all having to “die to” our old ways of using time, energy, resources (yes—money!) so that new ways can emerge within us—like new plants sprouting from composted soil.

Uranus wakes us up in a big way, breaking apart the old beliefs, the old consciousness, the old limitations that would otherwise stunt our growth and evolution. It opens our minds, it stirs our desire for freedom and new possibility. It raises the vibration, raises the stakes, helps us in seeing that we are powerful creators of a new reality, that we are the pioneers and world changers we have been seeking for so long.

It is significant that this Pluto Uranus square is joined by a Venus Chiron square (today) and will be followed by Mercury square Chiron tomorrow. We have been feeling Pluto Uranus in the background for some time now, like the rumbling of thunder at a distance signaling a storm, shaking the earth beneath our feet. At this moment, when the energy is at a peak, we are in Chiron’s realm. We are acutely aware of how far our own lives and actions fall short of the possibilities our spirits long for.

We might feel how far humanity is from where we need to be, in order to shift our economy and culture from consumerist and extractive, to creative and regenerative. It’s okay to feel what we are feeling. It’s okay to acknowledge that under the surface our hearts have been breaking. See and accept what is real and true in your consciousness at this time, even if it hurts. Stand on the firmest foundation you can, which is the capacity to accept life, to accept yourself, to accept humanity and Earth itself, as it is right now, in this moment.

Understand also that the pain you feel comes in part from the limitation in your understanding of how change and transformation actually take place. Recognize what the original people always knew—that we must act deliberately, slowly, and with reverence for life, if we wish to live in balance with it. It is natural, and part of the deeper healing to feel pain and sorrow, as we see all the ways we have separated ourselves from our hearts, from those we love, from a full receiving of the beauty of our Earth and the others who inhabit it.

When we allow ourselves to sorrow, and to be broken open, we are made humble and clear, so that we can move forward from the center of our being, from the heart. We come to feel lighter because we acknowledge the burdens we’ve been carrying all along.

I will write much more of this Pluto Uranus square, as it will continue to be triggered in the months to come. For now, take a deep breath, and ask yourself—am I afraid to be awake? If so, why? Is there a hidden fear that rules my life and sucks out all of my life force energy, that I must face and embrace so that I claim my full personal power? Am I willing to be shaken out of my old, stuck and painful places, so that I can live a life of greater freedom, passion, and color?

Ready or not, we are waking up. We are facing the fears that have kept us immobilized. Bless all that you do that elevates you, and those you love. Bless the fact that you feel things, that you care. Bless the reality that you can change and grow. And bless the reality that we are in this together, that we have so many tools we have gathered to help us ground, and move forward with love in our hearts, and courage in our spirit.

# 3 – Something to consider…

Although wouldn’t it be great if we got to the point where we didn’t even feel the need to judge or label anything as right or wrong, and just what is?

# 4 – A site that offers a wide variety of free items and resources….

http://www.openculture.com/2013/05/download_90_free_philosophy_courses_and_start_living_the_examined_life.html

# 5 – And from Abraham…

“As you begin to state what you do want, rather than clamoring about what you don’t want, you come into your own power. When you come into your own power, you feel better. And when you feel better — those who love you also feel better.”—Abraham

TIPS FOR TODAY:

# 1 – Yep!

# 2 – Go here and get a free download of the first 4 chapters of David Cameron Gikandi’s A Happy Pocket Full of Money book. A great read and no sign up necessary.

# 3 – An insightful post about 5 words to erase from your vocabulary…

http://everydaypowerblog.com/2013/05/11/top-5-words-to-delete-from-your-vocabulary/#comment-2539

BTW, I ended up leaving a comment on the page saying I would also add the word “try” to Jeff’s  list….to me it’s a little like “but”…already hedging your bets and paving the way for the possibility of not doing what you’re saying you’re going to try to do.

I would also lump “mistake” in there with “failure.” Will be glad when those two words and point of view start vanishing from our vocabularies and way of thinking. Often what on the surface may feel like, look like, or be judged as a mistake, ends up being something that catapults us forward or causes us to re-align ourselves and change and grow. If we were doing the best we could in the moment, and it (the “mistake” or “failure”) helped us learn what we’d do differently in the future, then is it really a mistake or a choice that brought growth and increased clarity?

Also, someone named David left a comment on the blog that contained a neat tip you may want to try…

“Really great post! Here’s a really cool thing I read somewhere: While saying “I can’t”, do something very simple that you know you can do. For example, hold your breath for 10 seconds, or anything else you CAN do, for a very short time. Then, increase the time, maybe by another 10 seconds, all the while saying “I can’t _____”. It acts like “negative” therapy, and it tricks your brain. After a while, you realize that saying “I can’t” doesn’t really mean anything.”

# 4 – All of you out there that have a message to share may be interested in this innvitation to a free call with Peggy McColl…

YOU’RE INVITED to this free online training event!

Once you’ve gone to all the trouble of writing a book it just makes sense to put in the little extra effort it takes to make it a bestseller. In fact it’s almost ESSENTIAL for anyone hoping to turn their book, their message, into a solid income-producing career of coaching, public speaking, and further publishing success.

You see … a book, by itself, is not a business. But when you can add “best-selling author” to your resume, you throw open the doors of possibility. The trouble is most authors have no clue how to do it! (And don’t expect your publisher to show you – most of THEM don’t know how, either.) But Peggy McColl sure does.

And on Tuesday, May 21st at 2pm or 7pm EST, you can join Peggy as she explains not only how to make YOUR book a bestseller (whether you’ve written it yet, or not) … but also how to use your new bestseller status as a springboard for spreading your message through speaking engagements, coaching programs, and more.…and hopefully make a VERY comfortable living from it, too! (As she does.)

If you’d like to see how it’s done, simply use this link to visit the registration page. (Yes, you do need to register even though it’s free because attendance is limited.)

You’ll also find more details on this event there, too.

Hit #1 spot on Amazon.com!

“Peggy is absolutely brilliant at what she does. She was the lead player in a campaign that saw The Saint, The Surfer and The CEO rise to the #1 spot on Amazon within hours. Listen to what she says — she’s a master.”- Robin Sharma, Bestselling Author of “The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari”

# 5 – And from Abraham…

“Let your alignment (with Well-Being) be first and foremost, and let everything else be secondary. And not only will you have an eternally joyous journey, but everything you have ever imagined will flow effortlessly into your experience. There is nothing you cannot be or do or have—but your dominant intent is to be joyful. The doing and the having will come into alignment once you get that one down.”

—Abraham
