Libra full moon, soul food, doggie love, blueberry recipes, cool sponges, and ease

# 1 – A feast for the eyes and soul….Chora, Mykonos Island

# 2- A great dog story with a lot of heart and, fortunately, a happy ending…

# 3 – A great article, at least in my humble opinion, about the Libra full moon from April Elliott Kent at mooncircles.com. I especially love the last paragraph…

Libra Full Moon: Befriending the Enemy

Astrologers are fond of observing that a Libra is nothing more than an Aries who’s been to charm school. Libra is every bit as determined as his fellow cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, and Capricorn) to get what he wants. But unlike those signs, Libra has the ability to make it look as though serving his own needs is the furthest thing from his mind.

That isn’t meant as a criticism, by the way. I admire the strategy. My mother was born with Libra rising, and she had the iron fist in the velvet glove routine down pat. For years, I watched her put this skill to use securing contributions for fundraising events on behalf of her favorite charity. She overcame any resistance with sunny charm, pretending not to notice reluctance or impatience coming from the other end of the telephone, and refusing to be intimidated. By pretending that others wanted to be helpful, she persuaded them to be so. In the end, she always got what she was after – and nearly always, earned another fan in the process.

With this Libra Full Moon facing off against a Mongol horde of planets (the Sun, Venus, Mars, and Uranus) in ferocious Aries – and all of them square unyielding Pluto in Capricorn – conflict resolution is the order of the day. I’ve been thinking about the best way to deal with people who make me angry, as well as those whose interests are diametrically opposed to my own. One hesitates to call them “enemies;” it sounds so dramatic. But let’s face it, that’s what an enemy is: one whose interests conflict with yours.

As mom was fond of saying, “You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar.” Andas every Libran knows, there’s more than one way to defeat an opponent. The 15th century Roman Emperor Sigismund was admonished by his Prime Minister when instead of destroying his captured enemies, he brought them into his court. It’s said that he replied, “Do I not most effectually destroy my enemies, in making them my friends?” It’s a quotation often attributed to Abraham Lincoln, and though I couldn’t find a source for it, it does sound like the kind of thing he would have said, famous as he was for forging unlikely political alliances.

But when I think about befriending people whose opinions, lifestyles, or politics are abhorrent to me, some flinty part of me digs in its heels and refuses to give in, loathe to give the impression of surrender. Why do most of us find it so difficult to befriend our enemies – and why is that those with Libra prominent in their birth charts often succeed where we fail?

In traditional astrology, Libra is said to be the sign of the Sun’s “fall” – meaning, it’s one of the signs in which the Sun’s innate qualities of pride and ego are least able to express themselves. Unlike prideful Leo (the sign of the Sun’s rulership) and headstrong, impulsive Aries (sign of the Sun’s exaltation), Libra has the ability to strategically suppress his ego in order to get what he wants.

With lots of impatient Aries planets on a collision course with Pluto, the potential for animosity and frustration over the next couple of weeks is enormous. It’s the kind of celestial atmosphere that suggests full-scale emotional meltdown. Picture four planets in Aries, like frustrated toddlers, falling down on their fannies, kicking their feet in the air, and screaming until they turn purple.

How to soothe four irate toddlers at once – or even one screaming customer, road-rageous fellow motorist, or internet flamethrower? By first making a friend of the enemy inside you – the stubborn, prideful, impulsive, and ego-driven part of you that stands in opposition to your best interests. Befriend that part of yourself, and you’ll have transformed your worst enemy into a strong, passionate ally. Once you’re fully at peace with yourself, you can respond to the rage, frustration, and stubbornness of others with kindness, even charm—fully expecting them to behave better, to be better. Not everyone will rise to meet your expectations —but at least you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that you did.

And a quick astrological update from Chris Flisher at http://www.chrisflisher.com…

Week of March 25, 2013

There is a mighty powerful collection of initiating action this week as the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Uranus all gather in a close conjunction in Aries. With Mars at home in its ruling sign, this feisty player may light the fuse that sets off the fireworks. This can be a wonderfully rich period for new beginnings and sweeping changes. Uranus has not been in this position for 84 years and when it combines with Mars and Venus the electricity may be a truly fabulous event (or series) to witness. It may be important to understand that events leave us changed when they occur. We cannot stay in the same place once we bear witness to something substantial, for they change us at our core. We must also try and place these events in a framework of necessity and progress, though. It is through significant and meaningful changes that we evolve, so we should welcome what comes our way.

How does this work for you?……see video  for extended forecast for planet.

And finally, because this full moon period has so much going on, here’s more from astrograph.com…

Wednesday’s Full Moon is yet another in the series of potent Full Moonconfigurations that have been happening around the end of every month. They have been taking place in the first ten degrees of their respective signs, bringing those signs into prominence and aspecting also the outer planets at similar degrees of Aries (Uranus); Scorpio (Saturn); Capricorn(Pluto); and Pisces (Neptune and Chiron). It is these signs that have also been hardest hit lately with the powerful currents of outer planet archetypes, although all signs, and all individuals, are vitally affected.

The Full Moon phase in any case represents a reaching out for balance, and for relationship, and in the case of this Libra Full Moon, this is especially so. Also the Sun exactly conjuncts Venus, again symbolizing issues predominate of self and other. The Sun is also in close conjunction with Uranus, with Marsnearby, so that surprises are more than likely, as well as the potential for startling news, perhaps even accidents. Involuntary actions or reactivity might well have unintended consequences. We are also currently more sensitive to feeling hurt by our closest associations, since Jupiter is in perfect square right now with Chiron, the Wounded Healer, while Saturn remains in aspect to both and Pluto sextiles Saturn and Chiron, creating a close Yod formation focused on Jupiter. Finally, this Full Moon makes a T-square to Pluto, bringing into highlight the radically revolutionary UranusPluto square, indicating personal and societal transformation, ever present now and reaching out for another crescendo by mid-May.

In terms of relationship, with Venus as well as Sun and Moon in square with transformative Pluto, we are looking ahead to a better take on our interpersonal connections with each other, attempting to find a more productive relational future ahead of us than we have managed thus far, both individually and culturally. The details will obviously vary greatly for each person, but in general we are intent on discovering the deeper meaning of what we say and do to each other as we go through the pangs of connection, attempted connection in the face of our fears of rejection, and moves toward isolation in response to these same fears, or in reaction to perceived rebuff. It is vital now to try to be as clear as we can possibly be with each other, whether in friendship or in the context of intimacy. The unintended insult can be extremely painful and difficult to make right, so that our words assume even more importance, and it pays to choose them carefully. On the other side of the hurt, we might also want to engage in a reality check before reacting — “did you really mean this by what you said, because that is the way that I heard it.”

It helps to recognize as well, that we are never angry with someone for the reason that we think we are. If we can catch ourselves, take a deep breath or a personally imposed time-out, and reflect on our own inner wounding that might be the ultimate causal factor in our upset, we will be better off. And if the time-out involves leaving the scene it is also more than helpful to indicate when you intend on coming back. These are some of the techniques and strategies that can make it easier to get through these times of great intensity in which we are now engaged. The good news is that, as the prominence of Saturn demonstrates, we are all learning.

The concept of learning and growth in awareness brings us back to the real purpose of what we are going through, that we might become better human beings as a result of our choices during these intense times and move forward with the personal evolution that we can tune into intuitionally within our innermost hearts. Rather than fleeing or ducking our issues, we win when we face them head-on with as much courage as we can muster. Then, although we cannot avoid some painful experiences, we can make the most of them.

You can’t use the Energy that creates worlds to create a situation and then find the action to keep up with it. You have to keep envisioning. You have to keep imagining it better.”— Abraham

# 5 – Ever consider that trying to always think positive is not necessarily the healthy thing to do?

More stimulation on the subject, this time via a quote from the book Dying to Be Me

Sweeping statements such as “Negative thoughts attract negativity in life” aren’t necessarily true, and can make people going through a challenging time feel even worse. It can also create fear that they’re going to attract even more negativity with their thoughts. Using this idea indiscriminately often makes people going through seemingly tough times feel as though the’re bad for attracting such events, and that’s just not true. If we start to believe that it’s our negative thoughts that are creating any unpleasant situation, we can become paranoid about what we’re thinking. On the contrary, it actually has less to do with our thoughts than our emotions, especially what we feel about ourselves.

# 6 – The same day I read the  article mentioned in # 5, I received this Abraham quote in my inbox…

Every emotion, from despair all of the way up to ecstasy; from complete Connection to who-you-really-are, all the way to pinching yourself off pretty severely, all of those emotions are about your perception of freedom, or your perception of bondage—every one of them.— Abraham

Love, light from algae, heart-warming rescue, energized water, holistic weight loss, astrological update, and Abraham

# 1 – Yes!

# 2- Wow, love all the cutting-edge developments/products coming forth…

# 3 – A simple trick from Emmanuel Dagher to energize your water…

Hey you! Here’s a special high vibe process that will bring instant vitality to your body, mind & energy.

Did you know that if you shake your drinking water for 30 seconds or longer before drinking it, it energizes the water which in turn energizes the person also drinking it? Since our body is made up of over 70% water, drinking energized water has a very powerful effect on us!

The process is simple:

Step 1: Pour your drinking water of choice in a glass bottle 1/2 full.
Step 2: Shake the bottle for about 30 seconds or so.
Step 3: Express gratitude towards the water.
Step 4: Drink & enjoy!

I like to do this little process daily especially in the morning before I eat or drink anything else. It sets a great tone for the day, and before you know it, you start to feel much more energized.

As always, I love to hear your experiences!

We’re all in this together! ♥ Emmanuel

(Another way to energize, balance, and harmonize your water is to use a Vibes Up water bottle; it would make the perfect container to use for shaking your water. There are two different styles to choose from; I have one of each and love them both. I use them all day every day, not just when I’m on the go. You can check my previous posts for more on these visionary award-winning products that bring Science, Spirit and Nature together. Also, another way to energize water is to boil it.)

# 4 – A heart-warming story for all you animal lovers…

# 5 – The 2013 Holistic Weight Summit is coming up!

This free 30-day global event will bring together the world’s leading experts in natural weight loss and holistic health. During the summit you discover natural ways to burn fat in your sleep, how to transform low energy into vitality and zest for life, simple movements and practices to use to stay fit, how to strengthen your immune system and prevent disease while increasing energy and well-being, and much, much more. You can sign up here.

# 6 – An astrological update from the folks at astrograph.com

Tuesday’s First Quarter Moon is that phase in the lunar cycle when the rubber meets the road – the time when our concrete plans from the New Moon one week prior, and our cherished ideals as well, must measure up to the standards of practicality set for us by a world seemingly indifferent to our original level of enthusiasm. These very issues have become much more poignant lately, with Saturn, and Jupiter also, so prominent in the monthly configurations. In the current skies, restrictive Saturn and enthusiasticJupiter remain within a degree of a quincunx aspect to each other, as Saturntrines Chiron, the Wounded Healer, while Jupiter squares it. There is plenty of attitude in these three planetary archetypes in collision, representing the pain of recognizing where indeed we cannot get what we want coupled with a strong sense of the ideal that we would like to believe is somehow still possible; and this is true on either a personal or a global level.

Then, too, the Spring Equinox of Wednesday, March 20th, is a dramatic one, with this same configuration of outer planet energies and several other strong aspects to take into consideration, as head-strong Mars conjuncts impulsive Uranus in Aries even more closely. We might need to be aware that everyone around us is more impetuous than usual, ourselves included, with accidents and outbursts a distinct possibility. At the time of Tuesday’s Quarter Moon this intense aspect is offset by the Sun with Venus in sensitive and subtle Pisces. In yet another strong symbol of sensitivity,Mercury, fresh out of its retrograde motion, remains in conjunction with dreamy Neptune. It’s a relief in some ways that Mercury has returned to a more outer-directed mode, although since it does not entirely escape its retrograde shadow until April 6th, the Mercury Retrograde period remains in transition for these next few weeks.

The sensitivity that Neptune and Pisces symbolize can be easily offended, while the impulsivity of MarsUranustends to jump the tracks, so the likelihood is there for upset. The MarsUranus conjunction becomes more pronounced over these next few days, perfecting on Friday, March 22nd. We must therefore strive especially hard to find the high road in our dealings with others, going against the grain of cosmic influence by trying to be patient and countering the onslaught of impulsive energy. We do well to beware of untoward spontaneous actions during this week that could lead to accidents, or of letting our mouths get ahead of our hearts, remembering that the word that is once spoken cannot be taken back. The recommendation is that rather than reacting we all take a deep breath and count to ten – or at least five – before responding.

With these powerful planetary alignments, amidst the tension of the quarter moon, interpersonal relationship is very much on our minds and in our hearts. We also have the strong urge to be ourselves, at all costs, and this is vitally important as well. We win only by paying careful attention to these joint urges. As the Sun leaves the last degree of Pisces he seeks to remind us that two hearts are better than one; and it goes much better if the two are each whole.

# 7 – And some stimulation from Abraham to end on…

So, the truth is, there’s not one path. The truth is, there’s not only one right path. The truth is, all paths can be made to be the right path. The truth is, that every individual has a different path. And that different path that every individual is launching incrementally—and amending constantly—that true path is known by Source and is guided by Source if you will pay attention to the way you feel.— Abraham
