TIPS FOR TODAY:
# 1 – Yea, the best form of alternative medicine…
# 2 – An article by Neil Fellowes on visioning titled Careful What You Focus On…You’ll Get Just What You’re Thinking About…
You do get what you think about and here’s a perfect example that took two years to manifest.
It was eight years ago when Jo and I first began experimenting with visualisation techniques. This first time, for 10 days, we wrote down our desires, visualised them and affirmed them. And there’s something really funny about this.
At the time Jo was living in London and I was living in Northampton. We’d known each other for around 6 weeks, but we weren’t dating.
We were both imagining life in years to come. We were both imagining our ideal homes and then we started talking about them. I wanted to live by the coast, Jo wanted rolling countryside. I wanted a suburban house, Jo wanted animals.
As time passed, and as I continued to visualise I began to think “Actually by the coast sounds nice, but rolling hillside also sounds nice too and animals sound nice, but what about cleaning them out and feeding them. I wasn’t sure if I wanted all that.
And then I started to imagine it was early 5th November and I was on the beach at Christchurch in England and I was facing the Isle of Wight, running sand through my hands and the day before I had signed the papers for a new house. And this all went on for about a year.
Then one day a friend invited us to stay at his house with him. While we were there he asked us if we’d like to go for a trip. It was a lovely sunny day so we said okay. Now Dave is a coach, Jo is a coach and I think I’d also started coaching by this time.
We were all interested in how we get what we wanted in life – who isn’t? And we were talking about how that comes about.
As it happens we were on a beach, and I was down in the sand, collecting bottle tops for a charity appeal which turned out to be a scam – but at least it got me in the sand. And there I was running sand through my fingers and I looked up and there right in front of me was the Isle of Wight. And I looked behind me and there right behind me was the spot I’d imagined I’d be when I had signed for my house, which is exactly the way it had worked out. And it was 31st October, so 5 days early.
And you know the funny thing… we live in rolling countryside. The front of our house looks like a suburban cul-de-sac, while the back of the house backs onto rolling countryside with paddocks and a field with horses and cows and sheep, but none are mine and I don’t have to feed. From my kitchen window I can see the sea. And my house is in a road called Cross Farm Road and built on old farm land.
So there is a perfect example of getting what you focus on.

# 3 – Coconut oil wins again! An article by Dr. David Jockers featured in the Natural News newsletter…
Coconut oil is one of nature’s most powerful forms of nutrition. Mothers’ milk is considered the most perfect food on the planet for human consumption do to its ideal nutritional content and immune boosting compounds. The closest match in nature to mothers’ milk is found within the coconut. This tropical staple is loaded with many powerful fatty acids that give it a unique taste and an abundance of health enhancing benefits.
Coconut oil enhances every bodily system. It is most renowned for its ability to dramatically boost immunity through the presence of medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) like lauric acid. When the body consumes lauric acid it is metabolized into a monoglyceride called monolaurin. Monolaurin liquefies microbial fatty cell membranes causing them to disintegrate. It is quite possibly one of nature’s most powerful anti-microbial agents.
Coconut oil also helps to balance hormones, stabilize blood sugar levels and boost the cellular healing process. It is also known to stimulate the thyroid and reduce stress on the liver and pancreas. This increases metabolism which helps us burn fat far more effectively while stimulating clean sources of energy that make us feel terrific.
The minimal daily dose of MCTs in coconut oil you should consume should be equivalent to what an infant will receive through human breast milk. The amount that infants consume helps to build their natural immune response to protect them from infectious illness while providing the nutritional support to help them grow and mature correctly. Based on body size, an average adult of 150 lbs should consume about 3 1/2 tablespoons of coconut oil daily.
Here is the amount of coconut oil one should consume daily:
Body Weight (lb/kg) —Tablespoons of Oil
175+/79+ —4+
150/68 —3 1/2
125/57 —3
100/45 —2 1/2
75/34 —2
50/23 —1 1/2
25/11 —1
Taking this amount of coconut oil for your body weight should be enough to benefit from the MCTs. Fortunately, the immune boosting and anti-microbial effects of MCTs are accumulative. This means that in many cases more is better. You can easily take twice the maintenance dose and do great.
Many natural health doctors who understand the super food power of coconut will recommend a tablespoon of coconut oil every 2-3 hours for their very sick patients. This coconut oil could be delivered transdermally by applying it on their skin or orally through their mouth.
Many very sick patients gag when anything is put into their mouth…so expect to rub it into their skin. Try to cover as much of their body as possible and especially over major areas where sickness exists. If someone has a respiratory infection, rub the coconut oil over their throat and chest regions so it will affect these regions first.
Because coconut oil is a super food and not a drug there is no danger of overdosing on coconut oil. Many tropical populations have consumed twice as much as the maintenance dose on a daily basis throughout their lives with no side effects. Dr. Bruce Fife, N.D. claims to have taken up to 14 tablespoons a day with no problems.
Coconut milk is another incredible way to add the MCT benefits into your daily life. Coconut milk is very rich and creamy. It is fantastic in a berry shake and mixed into hummus, guacamole, rice dishes, and soups. Be sure to get the regular or full fat milk in a glass container or can and not the light or carton based varieties. Look for organic varieties without preservatives. One full can supplies roughly 12 oz of coconut milk which is equivalent to 4 tablespoons of coconut oil.

# 6 – An astrology update from Chris Flisher…
Week of January 14, 2013
The conversation continues largely in Capricorn as Mercury joins the Sun and as Pluto remains in a tense alignment to sparky and unpredictable Uranus. All of these planets are in cardinal signs which indicate some sort of beginning. We can expect some rather loud and perhaps controversial conversations. These may very well be about looming deadlines and a political ping-pong match, but this could also signal a radical departure from paths we have traveled too long. This can be a representation of the positive power of this higher dialog if it manifests in this manner. The other extreme, of course is to turn up the heat. However, since Venus is also part of the meeting we can most likely witness a softening approach rather than a caustic one. One thing we can be certain of; it will be an emotional discussion in any event. As the Moon drifts past Uranus it has the potential to be inflammatory in all aspects.
How does this work for you?……see video for extended forecast for planet.
# 7 – Insight from Abraham…
“When people thought the world was flat, it wasn’t that their thinking was distorted (the data that they were collecting gave them that information), it was that they were not broad-sighted enough to step back far enough to see the big picture. And that’s what we see with so many of you: You are so close to the reality that you are creating, that you sometimes can’t see the bigger picture.”— Abraham
