Animal friends, letting go of fear and drama, Jupiter direct, The Power, and world changing ideas! Woo-hoo!

# 1 – For you animal lovers, here’s a great PBS Nature video about unlikely friendships between animal species (FYI, there are a couple of short breaks w/ commercials for the movie Les Mis, but you get some great music that way :-))…

# 2 –

# 3 – A good read from the I AM Learning Community about letting go of fear and drama…

# 4 – An astrology update from Chris Flisher (www.chrisflisher.com) about Jupiter going direct, and at the same time  all the other planets are direct as well (a pretty unusual event!)…
Week of January 28, 2013

This week, the wise and powerful Jupiter stations direct for the first time since October 4, 2012. It’s been a while and we should all be happy to see it moving forward. Retrogrades are a part of life, just like setbacks, so who isn’t happy to see them move forward? Where is Jupiter in your chart currently? That is where you’ll likely see optimistic movement. When the energy turns and surges forward we begin to see action and expansion once again. This is a part of the natural sway of life events. This also brings into focus the favorable connection between Jupiter and Uranus. As such, these two planets bring their own different characteristics to the conversation. However, when working together they also provide a backdrop for positive and progressive types of events and these are welcomed by all.

How does this work for you?……See video for extended forecast for planet.

# 5 – One of the most inspiring and encouraging things I’ve read lately! Hope you take the time to read it as well…
# 6 – And I don’t know how long this will be available, but I was able to download a free copy (MP3) of Rhonda Bryne’s The Power, the follow-up to The Secret

Leo full moon, non-GMO seeds, eco-friendly cat, finding common ground, and achieving enlightenment

# 1 – A good resource for you gardeners wanting to avoid GMO seeds or supporting companies run by Monsanto…

# 2 – A cute video with an eco-friendly message…

# 3 – Insight into the current full moon phase from astrograph.com. I can definitely relate to aspects of this!

With Saturday evening’s Full Moon we come to a crux of a decision point. The Full Moon always represents a stage of flowering or maturity of what has come before it in the lunar cycle, as the impulse of the New Moon finds its fulfillment. In this case the Sun and Moon in their opposition make aspects to all the outer planets, and in particular they form a difficult T-square toSaturn, ensuring that if we are wise we will slow down and think everything over at least twice before proceeding. We are also at the very same time paradoxically encouraged to take bold action in support of our dreams, sinceJupiter and Mars are also powerfully configured. Finally, the presence ofChiron in the mix of energies tells us that whatever we do decide, there will be an element of pain involved in our choices.

Chiron is the fulcrum of the lever that brings us into emotional stability in spite of everything, but we do best when we pay careful attention to his teachings, which come to us in the form of triggering of our previous wounding. There are places inside all of us that need to be recognized and accepted as the first step to healing, having been left ignored and neglected in some cases since childhood. We are all, in this era of transformation, coming face to face with our fears as well as our longings, and so the message from inner realms becomes vitally important as we attempt to navigate these troubled waters.

Saturn currently trines Chiron, so that they are working in concert, and Saturn also aspects both Pluto andUranus, each within less than a degree of exact; to Pluto a close sextile and to Uranus a bi-quintile aspect that is almost exact, within 22 minutes or about a third of a degree. Saturn with its sense of limitation therefore brings together the incipient UranusPluto square that is still active over these winter months, even though not nearly as close as last summer, or as it will be in the coming spring time frame. The combination with Saturnmeans that reactivity to massive change is as much a part of the psychic landscape as the truly revolutionary factors represented by Uranus and Pluto. But this is only natural since rapid movement away from the familiar brings up our fears as well as our gratitude.

Venus is very much invoked as well at the time of this Full Moon, sitting in late Capricorn semi-square to Chironin Pisces and closely aspected by JupiterVenus also resides at nearly the exact mid-point of Saturn andUranus, a lovely configuration that results in a quintile to each side. So we are enjoined to somehow balance the polarities and take in both the conservative holding back of Saturn and the revolutionary and forward-going spirit of Uranus, thus acknowledging each of these parts of ourselves.

We can of course choose to hold ourselves back from transformational activity; to stay with the familiar and the safely known; this is the message of Saturn. We can also decide to move forward with our lives in all their semblance of struggle and ferment, and in such a way that the necessary integration of all our energies will continue, as eventually it must.

# 4 – Yea! New Ground is finding ways to form common ground…

# 5 – One of the recent notes from the Universe (www.tut.com) that came to my inbox…

One sign of achieving enlightenment, Zirah, other than auras, tinkling bells, and a healing touch, is that you start valuing idle daydreaming as much as you value planning.Another is that you begin talking sweetly not only to plants and trees, but to cars and toasters and computers. And, quite unequivocally, feeling gratitude for your present challenges, love for lousy drivers, and sympathy for those who don’t see service in their work.Serving 7 billion,

Being yourself, solar energy, GMO juices, relieving stress, and choosing wisely

# 1 – There’s nothing like being yourself….

# 2 – I got so excited when I read this! An idea whose time has come and love that it takes as little as $25 to invest. Hope this takes off in every state in the US!

# 3 – You may want to think twice before buying Odwalla or Naked Juice products…

# 4 – These can be stress-filled times, but here are things Nature has provided to help…

# 5 – And to end on…

You have the power to choose your attitude, your perspective, your direction, your responses, your expectations, your actions and so much more.

Add it all together, and you have the power to choose your life.

It’s a waste of your time and energy to blame and complain when you can be doing something much more positive and powerful.

You can be choosing to make real headway.

You have the power to choose, so do it. Figure out what you really, truly want from this day, from this circumstance, from this life, and go for it.

Make your choice, and then make the commitment to make it happen. Make your choice, and then make all the other choices along the way that will bring it about.

Take a positive, active role in your life. Make peace with what is, with what you have, and then make your choice of what to do with it all.

Life is what you most consistently and passionately choose for it to be, and that most definitely includes the choices you make in this moment.

Spend each moment making the best, most authentic choices, and you’ll spend your days living a rich and fulfilling life.

# 6 – An astrology update from Chris Flisher (www.chrisflisher.com)….

Week of January 21, 2013

As the Sun and Mercury move through Aquarius, the connection to Jupiter in Gemini becomes more important simply because it combines the like energy of fellow air signs. Aquarius and Gemini operate within the cerebral realm and raise the conversation to all things intellectual. With Aquarius as the predominant sign we can expect larger, humanitarian ideals to come forth, especially as a big bold Leo Full Moon appears lighting the sky late in the week. Responsibility and duty remain important global themes as Saturn holds our deeds and goals to the highest point while in the deeply intense sign of Scorpio. Saturn in Scorpio brings out secrets and flushes away that which is tawdry and illegal. Fixed signs such as Scorpio and Aquarius have little room for flexibility so we can expect the terms to be strict between Saturn and the Sun and Mercury.

How does this work for you?……see video for extended forecast for planet.

Mother Nature, natural body care, good news (yea!), baking soda, 2013 Awakening, and Abraham

# 1 – Holy cow, Mother Nature, you’ve outdone yourself again!

An Australian Peacock Spider

# 2 – An article from the Natural News newsletter about 7 natural products you can use for body care. Be sure and check out the trueearthmama.com site listed at the end for your free e-book on natural body care recipes…

(NaturalNews) The skin is the largest organ in the body and everything you put on your skin is absorbed into the bloodstream. There are many toxic chemicals added to commercial body care products that have been shown to affect the body’s immune system, reproductive system and nervous system. However, there are many natural products that can be used in all of your body care needs. Here are seven inexpensive natural ingredients that can be used to replace the unnecessary chemicals in many of your personal care products.

• Apple cider vinegar not only has many benefits to your internal body but also is an excellent beauty product for all your hair and skin needs from head to toe. ACV is cheap and due to its high acidity, it balances your skin and hair’s natural pH levels while leaving a beautiful glow.

• Baking soda (or bicarbonate of soda) is a gentle alkaline powder that cleans, whitens and also has anti-inflammatory properties. Baking soda will also draw out toxins which makes it a wonderful ingredient for your homemade products. You can find baking soda at any grocery store and it is very cheap.

• Beeswax is a natural wax produced by honeybees in their beehive. Beeswax has many uses, but in skin products, once applied to the skin, it forms a protective and moisturizing layer on the surface. It also contains antibacterial properties.

• Coconut oil has so many great uses. Coconut oil has anti-viral and anti-microbial properties. Not only is coconut oil great for cooking, it is also can be used in almost every body care need.

• Jojoba oil is a botanical extract from the seed of a jojoba tree. It can be used as a make-up remover, conditioner, facial cleanser, massage and bath oil, body moisturizer, lip conditioner and much more. It has been said to be very close to the consistency of human skin oils, thus cleans pores without clogging them.

• Vitamin E oil is a strong antioxidant that prevents premature aging and promotes healing. It is used in many products for the skin and nails.

• Zinc oxide is not only an antioxidant that is able to soothe, protect and help heal the skin, but it is also a sun protector able to absorb UVA and UVB rays from the sun. It can be used in children and baby lotions, nail products, skin lotions and sunscreens.

I’m simply reminding you of who you truly are, supporting you into self-love and acceptance by eradicating the judgment that you’ve imposed on yourself and society has imposed on you. ~ Panache Desai

Cuddling, visioning, coconut oil, HealThy Mouth, astrology update, Abraham, a quizness and steel wool! What?!

# 1 – Yea, the best form of alternative medicine…

# 2 – An article by Neil Fellowes on visioning titled Careful What You Focus On…You’ll Get Just What You’re Thinking About

You do get what you think about and here’s a perfect example that took two years to manifest.

It was eight years ago when Jo and I first began experimenting with visualisation techniques. This first time, for 10 days, we wrote down our desires, visualised them and affirmed them. And there’s something really funny about this.

At the time Jo was living in London and I was living in Northampton. We’d known each other for around 6 weeks, but we weren’t dating.

We were both imagining life in years to come. We were both imagining our ideal homes and then we started talking about them. I wanted to live by the coast, Jo wanted rolling countryside. I wanted a suburban house, Jo wanted animals.

As time passed, and as I continued to visualise I began to think “Actually by the coast sounds nice, but rolling hillside also sounds nice too and animals sound nice, but what about cleaning them out and feeding them. I wasn’t sure if I wanted all that.

And then I started to imagine it was early 5th November and I was on the beach at Christchurch in England and I was facing the Isle of Wight, running sand through my hands and the day before I had signed the papers for a new house. And this all went on for about a year.

Then one day a friend invited us to stay at his house with him. While we were there he asked us if we’d like to go for a trip. It was a lovely sunny day so we said okay. Now Dave is a coach, Jo is a coach and I think I’d also started coaching by this time.

We were all interested in how we get what we wanted in life – who isn’t? And we were talking about how that comes about.

As it happens we were on a beach, and I was down in the sand, collecting bottle tops for a charity appeal which turned out to be a scam – but at least it got me in the sand. And there I was running sand through my fingers and I looked up and there right in front of me was the Isle of Wight. And I looked behind me and there right behind me was the spot I’d imagined I’d be when I had signed for my house, which is exactly the way it had worked out. And it was 31st October, so 5 days early.

And you know the funny thing… we live in rolling countryside. The front of our house looks like a suburban cul-de-sac, while the back of the house backs onto rolling countryside with paddocks and a field with horses and cows and sheep, but none are mine and I don’t have to feed. From my kitchen window I can see the sea. And my house is in a road called Cross Farm Road and built on old farm land.

So there is a perfect example of getting what you focus on.

# 3 – Coconut oil wins again! An article by Dr. David Jockers featured in the Natural News newsletter…

Coconut oil is one of nature’s most powerful forms of nutrition. Mothers’ milk is considered the most perfect food on the planet for human consumption do to its ideal nutritional content and immune boosting compounds. The closest match in nature to mothers’ milk is found within the coconut. This tropical staple is loaded with many powerful fatty acids that give it a unique taste and an abundance of health enhancing benefits.

Coconut oil enhances every bodily system. It is most renowned for its ability to dramatically boost immunity through the presence of medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) like lauric acid. When the body consumes lauric acid it is metabolized into a monoglyceride called monolaurin. Monolaurin liquefies microbial fatty cell membranes causing them to disintegrate. It is quite possibly one of nature’s most powerful anti-microbial agents.

Coconut oil also helps to balance hormones, stabilize blood sugar levels and boost the cellular healing process. It is also known to stimulate the thyroid and reduce stress on the liver and pancreas. This increases metabolism which helps us burn fat far more effectively while stimulating clean sources of energy that make us feel terrific.

The minimal daily dose of MCTs in coconut oil you should consume should be equivalent to what an infant will receive through human breast milk. The amount that infants consume helps to build their natural immune response to protect them from infectious illness while providing the nutritional support to help them grow and mature correctly. Based on body size, an average adult of 150 lbs should consume about 3 1/2 tablespoons of coconut oil daily.

Here is the amount of coconut oil one should consume daily:

Body Weight (lb/kg) —Tablespoons of Oil
175+/79+ —4+
150/68 —3 1/2
125/57 —3
100/45 —2 1/2
75/34 —2
50/23 —1 1/2
25/11 —1

Taking this amount of coconut oil for your body weight should be enough to benefit from the MCTs. Fortunately, the immune boosting and anti-microbial effects of MCTs are accumulative. This means that in many cases more is better. You can easily take twice the maintenance dose and do great.

Many natural health doctors who understand the super food power of coconut will recommend a tablespoon of coconut oil every 2-3 hours for their very sick patients. This coconut oil could be delivered transdermally by applying it on their skin or orally through their mouth.

Many very sick patients gag when anything is put into their mouth…so expect to rub it into their skin. Try to cover as much of their body as possible and especially over major areas where sickness exists. If someone has a respiratory infection, rub the coconut oil over their throat and chest regions so it will affect these regions first.

Because coconut oil is a super food and not a drug there is no danger of overdosing on coconut oil. Many tropical populations have consumed twice as much as the maintenance dose on a daily basis throughout their lives with no side effects. Dr. Bruce Fife, N.D. claims to have taken up to 14 tablespoons a day with no problems.

Coconut milk is another incredible way to add the MCT benefits into your daily life. Coconut milk is very rich and creamy. It is fantastic in a berry shake and mixed into hummus, guacamole, rice dishes, and soups. Be sure to get the regular or full fat milk in a glass container or can and not the light or carton based varieties. Look for organic varieties without preservatives. One full can supplies roughly 12 oz of coconut milk which is equivalent to 4 tablespoons of coconut oil.

# 4 – Wow, talk about having an adventurous spirit, and who knew spinning burning steel wool could be so magical!

# 5 – Here’s something everyone can benefit from….

The  HealThy Mouth World Summit on teeth and dental health put on by Orawellness (they have a great organic brushing blend, by the way) was originally set for November, but got postponed due to Hurricane Sandy and is going on now thru Jan.  20th; it will offer information and insights to help you improve not just dental health, but overall health. Sign up now so you don’t miss any of the presentations from 21 of the world’s leading experts (including Dr. Hal Huggins) from six different countries.

# 6 – An astrology update from Chris Flisher…

Week of January 14, 2013

The conversation continues largely in Capricorn as Mercury joins the Sun and as Pluto remains in a tense alignment to sparky and unpredictable Uranus. All of these planets are in cardinal signs which indicate some sort of beginning. We can expect some rather loud and perhaps controversial conversations. These may very well be about looming deadlines and a political ping-pong match, but this could also signal a radical departure from paths we have traveled too long. This can be a representation of the positive power of this higher dialog if it manifests in this manner. The other extreme, of course is to turn up the heat. However, since Venus is also part of the meeting we can most likely witness a softening approach rather than a caustic one.   One thing we can be certain of; it will be an emotional discussion in any event. As the Moon drifts past Uranus it has the potential to be inflammatory in all aspects.

How does this work for you?……see video for extended forecast for planet.

# 7 – Insight from Abraham…

“When people thought the world was flat, it wasn’t that their thinking was distorted (the data that they were collecting gave them that information), it was that they were not broad-sighted enough to step back far enough to see the big picture. And that’s what we see with so many of you: You are so close to the reality that you are creating, that you sometimes can’t see the bigger picture.”— Abraham
