# 5 – A great article from astrograph.com about the current full moon and other major astrological happenings (these are potent times indeed!)…

When the Full Moon syncs up on Monday afternoon, it will be dramatic, since the degree of the Sun and the Moon, the seventh of Scorpio and of Taurus, respectively, closely matches that of Pluto in CapricornChiron in Pisces andUranus in Aries, triggering these potent cosmic energies yet again in this closing of the year. This Full Moon also represents the fulfillment of the concepts that were spawned by the recent Libra New Moon, which was powerful in itself during this crucial time frame of the late fall of 2012; we might want to consider that we have come to a crossroads where we can more clearly see what it is that we are in the process of manifesting. The transformation wrought by the three outer planets, including Uranus, these “Ambassadors from the galaxy,” are working their way into the very fabric of our lives, inclining us in the direction that the universe sincerely wants us to take. Like a rising tide, the cosmos works though us in this way very slowly, almost imperceptibly, but in the end comes to be recognized as entirely futile to resist.

Mercury will have just entered Sagittarius, the sign of its impending retrograde, and there squares Neptune, while Mars simultaneously makes a quintile aspect. The quintile represents a spiritual connection, and Neptune is of course a spiritual planetary energy, so that this combination takes us even further away from mundane affairs and into the magical realm between the worlds, and this only two days before the Day of the Dead, or Halloween. Chiron remains conjunct to Neptune, just a few degrees away, while Saturn in early Scorpio makes an exact trine to their midpoint, so that we might be sensing and benefiting by powerful healing energies and feeling as well the sorrow of our all too human condition.

The Sabian symbol for the Full Moon positions are, for the Sun: “Deep-sea divers” and for the Moon: “A woman of Samaria.” This second symbol refers to the Samaritans who were in biblical days at odds with and cast aside by the more socially well-connected Jews, but yet whom Jesus nevertheless addressed at Jacob’s well. The symbol speaks to us in our day as a reminder that we are all essentially one, no matter how hard we try to hide it. The divers are we ourselves, delving down into the great unknown that lies within us, there to find our hidden treasure trove of ancient wisdom. This is a factor that is quite precisely apropos for these times, as also revealed in the current prominence of Neptune and Chiron. Additionally, Neptune‘s symbol is “A public market” meaning that as we transform, we have to take everyone with us, for in our emerging global society we are all of us inextricably linked. The symbol corresponding to Pluto is also quite cogent: “Birds in the house singing happily,” which Marc Edmond Jones speaks about as referring to the descent of spirit.

These are amazing times. As the Mayans foretold, we are on the verge of breakthrough to cosmic consciousness, which they observed from their perspective as the ending of one series of cycles and the beginning of another. This end-of-year time for 2012 that we are entering right now is a powerful one, and a reminder to echo in our every thought and in all our actions the real reasons why we are here. It’s not the getting and the selling, the jockeying for power position, although these take up so much of our time. Instead it is deeper that that, a reason that each of us already knows on the inside, through information available to each one of us as we remember what we essentially are: unique representatives of an angel host attempting to repopulate our world.

# 6 – And some Abraham “to grow on”…

“The Universe is abundant with everything that you want. It’s not testing you. It’s benevolently providing for you. But you are the orchestrater. You are the definer, and you do it through your joyous anticipation. If there is an emotion that you are wanting to foster, that would serve you very, very well, it is positive expectation. It is excited anticipation.”— Abraham

Shifting your perspective, the all-important pH factor, a cheetah’s story, accessing authentic power, proof of heaven and Abraham. How does it get any better than that?! :-)

TIPS FOR TODAY:

# 1 – EnlightenNext is offering a free presentation on shifting your perspective on change…

You’ve probably heard the famous quote from Albert Einstein: “No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.” For many of us who care about changing the world, those words make a lot of sense. You may also have discovered, however, that finding and living from “another level of thinking” isn’t as simple as it sounds.

But what if there was a perspective that could allow us to discern a clear direction beyond all of the complexity? What if there was a new way of seeing the world—a new worldview—that could change the way we think about changing the world? This is what you’ll learn about in Becoming an Evolutionary: 3 Breakthrough Insights that Can Shift Your Perspective on Change—a complimentary tele-seminar on Sunday, October 28 at 3pm ET, with Carter Phipps and Elizabeth Debold.

# 2 – I was reading a blog post the other day and realized from all the comments left there that much of the general public is still unaware of the connection between health and pH…

I didn’t know about it myself until a number of years ago when I was doing research spurred on by a number of health issues I was facing. Come to find out pH level (the alkalinity/acidity of the body) is a critical factor in overall health and directly linked to a number of diseases. In fact, I came to feel that pH was such an important, but often overlooked, piece of the health puzzle that I ended up putting a section about it in my e-book A Healthier You From the Inside Out.

If anyone would like to receive the section on pH free of charge, just leave a comment here to that effect and I will be happy to send it on via e-mail. Hopefully that will save some of you out there all the time and effort I put into researching and compiling the information. No need to keep re-inventing the wheel. :-) By the way, did you know your pH is not only influenced by what you eat? You can do and eat all sorts of things to get your pH within a healthy range, only to have it all “undone” by just a few minutes of getting stressed out?! :-(  Unfortunately it seems stress is like kryptonite to pH, and we all know how prevalent stress is these days.

Also, for anyone interested in learning more on the topic of pH, energiseforlife.com (yes, with an “s”, not a “z”) is a great resource.

# 3 – A heart-warming story about an orphaned cheetah and a “mother’s” love (be sure to click the link to more photos on page 2; love the one of Sheeba staring out from the bathroom) …

# 4 – A fascinating read about proof of heaven and how you should always remember you are loved and cherished deeply and forever, you have nothing to fear, and that there is nothing you can do wrong…

# 5 – Don’t forget that the Shift Network is presenting The 5 Keys to Awakening Your Authentic Power with Gary Zukav on Nov. 1st…

Gary and his partner Linda Francis will show you how to step into a new kind of authentic power accessed when you align your personality with your soul. You can sign up for the free presentation here.

# 6 – And some inspiration from Abraham…

“We would begin saying, “I’m not ever going to get it done. I’m an eternally expanding Being, and I’m doing great where I am, and I’m so eager about what’s coming.” That’s the essence of the vibration that keeps adventurous things coming, keeps you feeling always excited, stable and secure, keeps you feeling in love with life. All day, every day, count your blessings! All day, every day, make your lists of things you appreciate. And as you keep activating what is working in your life, then more pleasing things on all subjects will flow to you.”— Abraham

FYI, a great place to count your blessings and, as Abraham suggests, make a list of things you appreciate is GratitudeLog.com. Check it out! :-)

Peter Diamandis on Ponoko, spinach and solar energy, meditation and enlightenment, your Money Honey

TIPS FOR TODAY:

# 1 – Here’s part of an amazing e-mail message I got from Peter Diamandis (I featured a link to a video presentation he did in one of my past blog posts that you should check out, if it’s still available)…

“I’ve always been fascinated by the vision of distributed, decentralized manufacturing made possible by such technologies as 3D printers and other digital-manufacturing processes. The idea is simple, but so very powerful: You create a design on your computer, perhaps a design for a dress, a piece of jewelry or the proverbial “widget.” Whatever it is, you then upload it to the cloud, and when someone orders it in Chicago, Tokyo or Istanbul, the product you designed is manufactured on the spot at a local hub and delivered minutes later. It’s an intoxicating and powerful vision. No waiting. No large carbon footprint for transporting the product continent to continent. No large inventories.

That’s the vision that Ponoko co-founder David ten Have is espousing. David wants everyone to become a maker. It’s a thrilling glimpse of the future.

“Ponoko is enabling people to produce products that are directly relevant to themselves. Where mass manufacturing is successful is in ‘mass,’ in developing products that fit the 95th percentile,” explained ten Have. “Distributed manufacturing is developing product for you and your community, in batches of 1,000 or 100 or, in the extreme, just for one person. You recognize a need in your community that isn’t being met, and you meet it. That’s what it’s about.”

Read more about how Ponoko is revolutionizing the manufacturing process here.

-Peter Diamandis

# 2 – A fascinating article about using spinach in connection with solar energy…

http://www.care2.com/causes/how-to-make-solar-energy-better-use-spinach.html

# 3 – A well-written blog post by Shelly Pitcher, who really took Morgana Rae‘s Money Honey concept to heart…

http://www.heismyhero.co.uk/2012/09/its-all-about-money-honey.html

# 4 – I’m impressed! An extensive article about the multiple benefits of using aloe vera gel, both internally and externally….

http://www.naturalnews.com/021858.html

# 5 – Food for thought from Andrew Cohen on meditation and enlightenment  (excerpted from EnlightenNext’s bi-weekly e-mail)…

Meditation is a metaphor for enlightenment.
Rightly understood, meditation and enlightenment are one and the same. Meditation is the experience of a particular state of consciousness that has certain qualities, which are also the qualities of enlightenment itself. This is why meditation can be understood as a metaphor for enlightenment. When you meditate, you are consciously choosing to assume the enlightened relationship to your own experience, which is a position in relationship to your experience that is free—free from compulsive identification with time, thought and feeling. In order to do this, you can follow three very simple instructions: Be still. Be at ease. Pay attention.

Being still is a metaphor for wanting to be free more than anything else.
The decision to be still in meditation represents a fundamental posture in relationship to life itself. It means you are making a commitment that no matter what happens, even if the whole world seems to be falling apart, you will not move. In the unenlightened state, driven by the erratic nature of the conditioned mind and the wild and untamed emotions of fear and desire, we are almost always moving. This is what makes us untrustworthy, and it is why we are constantly losing our bearings. Not moving is a metaphor for the goal, because one who is enlightened is one who inwardly never moves from that which is most important.

Ease of being is a metaphor for letting everything be as it is.
Letting everything be means you are no longer grasping at or trying to control your experience in any way. When you experience ease of being, there is a profound release of a fundamental existential tension, which is the deep and often unconscious conviction that something is terribly wrong. The freedom of enlightenment is based upon this dissolution of existential tension. Letting everything be, you discover an unconditional freedom that has always been at the ground of your own experience—the liberating recognition that nothing is fundamentally wrong.

Paying attention is a metaphor for having no relationship to the arising of thought or the presence of feeling.
When you choose not to identify with the movement of thoughts and emotions, sooner or later you will have the profound experience of your own Self standing free from the mind—free from the compulsive habit of conceptualization and personalization. Your awareness will become so vast that it embraces all things, while simultaneously being the experience of freedom from all things. You will discover that you are resting as awareness itself, beyond all thought and emotion. It is the presence of this miraculous depth of attention that makes one who is enlightened appear to be unusually awake.–Andrew Cohen

This seems like a great place to add this quote I just happened to read :-)…

“Half an hour’s meditation is essential except when you are very busy. Then a full hour is needed.” –Saint Francis de Sales

# 6 – And to end on,  a little stimulation from Abraham…

“Wherever you are, is just fine…You can get to wherever you want to be from wherever you are… It’s time to stop measuring where you are in relationship to where anybody else is. The only factor that has anything to do with you is where you are in relationship with where you want to be.”— Abraham

# 3 – An insightful take on the current moon phase and astrological happenings from astrograph.com…

This First Quarter Moon takes place on Sunday evening, but in some ways the most significant event comes on the following afternoon, of Monday the 22nd, when the Sun makes its ingress (entrance) into Scorpio. Of course the exact square between the Sun and Moon taking place Sunday evening is also an important juncture, which seminal astrologer Dane Rudhyar referred to as a ‘crisis of action.’ The meaning of this phase is that whatever in the seeding period of the New Moon it is that we have conceived, this vision must now run up against serious obstacles and tests of viability in terms of practical real-world considerations. Interestingly, this theme of running up against life’s hard-and-fast practicalities is accentuated by the close Sun-Saturnconjunction that follows on the very next day.

The reason that the Monday evening event is so important is that at the time of the Sun’s entrance into Scorpio that strong blaze of conscious awareness conjoins conservative Saturn within 2 degrees, and from the standpoint of the same sign, while the Sun’s own trine with Neptune in the first degree of Pisces becomes very nearly exact. This in a major way accentuates the SaturnNeptune trine that we have been experiencing for several weeks now. Saturn withNeptune brings up illusion, deception and the possibility of self-deception, while also allowing for the potential of the miraculous to descend into earth-bound existence, making the spiritual real. These twin potentials obviously loom large in the macro view of the society as a whole as seen in recent days with its difficulties in telling fact from fiction all around the globe and within the American election cycle as it draws to its photo-finish conclusion.

In our individual lives as well we will want to ask ourselves the question of who’s zoomin’ who and how we might somehow be able to distinguish the wheat of true soul purpose from the chaff of mere fooling around, in whatever activity we find ourselves most fully engaged.

As the Sun makes its way into Scorpio, the sign of rebirth into deeper meaning, and as it trines Neptune andChiron both in Pisces, another water sign that refers to inner realities, the universe is indeed making an important gesture on your behalf. What this configuration is fundamentally saying is that you are being taken on an important voyage to your inner depths. It is there, and only there, that you will discover the intuitional reality that you so actively seek. These are powerful times for finding your own individual voice – as evidenced by Uranus in Aries also strongly aspected by SaturnChiron, and Jupiter – for that is the royal road to your own inner truth.

As we attempt to see through to their natural fruition the dreams that we began this lunar cycle enthusiastically believing, we must be prepared throughout this second phase for the heartbreak of coming down to the real. But that can also be the great blessing of this period of time as we modify our vision to account for the realities of our actual situation. There is one important key and that is integrity. When we keep faith with the surrounding cosmos it will keep faith with us, as long as we are making our most sincere effort.

# 5 – Less doing, more “seeing” (envisioning) and BE-ing?

“Act a little less and think a little more… We’re not saying stop acting and do it all in mind. We’re saying work your 8 hours or your 10 hours or your 16 hours.. Just spend at least 10 or 15 minutes — in a day where you are working 8-10-16 hours of physical action in order to maintain the physical stuff that you’ve gathered around you — trying to find pleasure from some vision. Afford yourself that. And that 10 or 15 minutes that you are finding pleasure, will cause a focalization of Energy within you that the Universe will actualize around. You will begin to notice that you are more productive, because of 15 minutes of visualization, than you were from 16 hours of hard labor.”— Abraham

# 4 – Insight into the Libra new moon from astrograph.com

This New Moon, taking place in the 23rd degree of Libra early on Monday morning, brings us fresh energy at an important time, as we shift seasons into fall and winter from the easy weather of the summer months. Within our collective organizations we are also shifting, as the school year begins, the responsibilities of the holiday season near, and in America in this year particularly, the presidential season looms. The Day of the Dead, celebrated in America as Halloween, also approaches and we might be reminded that at this time of the year the veil between the worlds seems to thin, so that we are subject to the intrusions of the numinous into ordinary affairs.

This symbolism is reflected in the powerful configurations that accompany this New Moon energy of late LibraSaturn, having moved into Scorpio, contacts numinous and otherworldly Neptune by trine, while the New Moonforms a quintile aspect of 72 degrees to Scorpio‘s ruler, Pluto, residing inCapricorn. The mutual reception of Pluto and Saturn enhances their interaction and reflects the transformational nature of these times – when familiar structures are falling apart; presumably in order that they might be reconstituted nearer to our collective heart’s true desire.

The Moon parallels Neptune, and the Sun parallels Saturn, so that both the practicality of the Saturnian impulse and the free-wheeling numinousity of Neptune are each given a boost by the light of this New Moon, while their trine remains within about half a degree of exact, and while their interaction pulls closer to the earth the mystical and creative energies of the unknown darkness within the psyche. Primitive societies were frightened of old by this energy, known to them as the influence of ancestors and spirits of all kinds, and sought to propitiate these dark powers with ritual, certainly one valid way to respond to these energies — and one that is carried over into the religious institutions of our own day. Just as Saturn allows these spiritual powers to become more tangible, Neptune also takes Saturn away from its earth-bound center into fantasy. This is a time when we must beware of the dangers of self-deception and of the confusion that arises when we idealize a situation too completely so that we miss the signs pointing to intelligent caution.

There is certainly also a positive side to the creativity implicit in Neptune. Contrary-wise to the above, we can see our dreams actually begin to manifest once we have the wisdom to recognize our true path and the courage to pursue it. It is therefore vitally important to carefully look into whether we are dreaming true or false, as we face the challenges of this powerful year of change. The Sabian symbol of this New Moon degree is “A chanticleer rooster greets the dawn” and we might take this as a symbol of the soul, tuned to cosmic realities that are not entirely visible, yet still able to respond to these subtle signs with fervor and enthusiasm even though the outcome is far from clear.

This is above all a time for discernment; a time when everything is on the line, for good or for ill. We all of us must choose, and go to our own deep center as we do so. Hopefully we will do our best to choose life – for the planet and for our society and for ourselves – so as to further the evolutionary purpose working itself out though each one of us.

And an astrological update for the week ahead from Chris Flisher at http://www.chrisflisher.com…

Week of October 15th, 2012

Emotions may be running much hotter as the Moon glides by aggressive Mars in Sagittarius. While Mars works well in the fire sign of the Archer and bounces off that reflective quality, it also fuels the trigger of Uranus in fellow fire-sign Aries. We might expect to see a building of tension as a result. Perhaps a verbal duel might be in order as presidential debates seek to solidify two wildly diverse points of view. With Jupiter opposing the whole scene from across the zodiac in Gemini we can be certain that the conversation gets amplified to the highest degree.   If an advantage comes into to view during these times it may be critical to drive home the point. This may not be a theme for shy flowers. This could be a game-changing dialog that sways a mass sea of people in another direction like a school of fishes, desperately seeking the truth.

How does this work for you?……see video  for extended forecast for planet.

# 5 – For you animal lovers out there, a sweet story about a rescued baby walrus. Be sure to watch the first video on the page where the walrus snuggles up several times to one of his caretakers. Too sweet!

# 6 – Food for thought…

“Desire summons Life Force. If we must continue to be alive, we must continue to have new desire. You are not willing to let yourself outrageously want because when you outrageously want something that you haven’t found a way of getting, it is too uncomfortable, and the risk feels too great. We’re wanting you to hear that there is no risk at all! Fantasize and watch what happens.”— Abraham

# 2 – Andrew Cohen on evolutionary enlightenment…

Put Yourself in God’s Position

The whole idea behind Evolutionary Enlightenment is to become a liberated human being who is a real player in the life process. Because it is only in and through individuals who are real players—who have awakened to what an extraordinary privilege it is to be one of the luckiest people to have ever been born—that God, or the energy and intelligence that initiated the creative process, can actually do anything. If you put yourself in God’s position, you will see that you wouldn’t be able to create the future in and through a selfish, self-centered person who deeply experiences incarnation as a burden. There simply wouldn’t be any room for you in such an individual’s heart, mind, and soul. This is why our enlightenment—our development beyond ego—has become nothing less than an evolutionary imperative.—Andrew Cohen

(For more on the uses and benefits of coconut oil, check out my website page on the topic, and iHerb.com, my current favorite place for getting my current favorite coconut oil (Artisana…it’s raw, organic, extra virgin) at a discount. If you are a new customer and use code CJG192 and order $40 or more, you’ll get $10 off AND free shipping, plus a pick from their free samples and trial offers. How does it get any better than that?!)

# 4 – An article from Guy Finley that fits in perfectly with the fall season here in the US…

OPEN THE DOOR AND LET FORGIVENESS FIND YOU

Key Lesson: The missing spiritual key — needed to forgive those who have hurt us — is found in our own awakening wish to be forgiven for having been deceived, and then seduced into believing there could ever be a valid reason for hating anyone.

The fall season, so full of autumn colors, tells the passage of one order of life surrendering itself so that another may take its place. This makes it a natural time for us to let go of any old resentment — to forgive those who may have hurt us — so that our heart, willingly emptied of the pain of the past has room within it for the arrival of a new order of joy and trust.

Learning to let go in this way honors life, because it is true to what Life needs in order to succeed within us and through us.

Fall is nature’s preparation for regeneration, and we too should use this time to release anything left hanging over — from the heartache of an unresolved relationship, to that argument with someone that still stings us each time we relive it. That past pain should be deliberately dropped now, shed like dried-out leaves to blow away in the winds of time.

The vital forces that oversee and enforce life’s ceaseless expansion and contraction, that ensure its fullness becomes emptiness in order to fill it again… they have no conflict with one other. Far from it: they complement each other by secretly serving to complete one another. And this knowledge can be our power because — with such wisdom in hand — we can let go knowing that whatever we will release will be returned to us in a whole new form.
