# 3 – A quick astrological update from Chris Flisher  at http://www.chrisflisher.com….

Week of July 30th, 2012

Venus continues her stroll through Gemini and the talk comes easy, even when responsible Saturn enters the conversation. Ownership, accountability and pleasant business arrangements are favored. This may be an excellent time to forge agreements or other mutually agreed-upon ventures. As the Moon joins Neptune in the watery realm of Pisces we may feel an edge of doubt or the tinge of delusion. Ultimately this fleeting feeling may simply serve to encourage our resolve and way forward. After all, a little bit of doubt helps to keep us focused. Mercury still rides backwards and the doubt might be worth looking at. A brilliant Aquarius full Moon sheds powerful light on global initiatives and social and humanitarian progress.  How does this work for you?……see video for extended forecast for planet.

And an article about the current full moon phase from mooncircles.com…

Aquarius Full Moon: Looking for Lightning by Allison Elliott Kent, 7/28/12

The weather’s been stifling here for the past few days, with hot, humid winds blowing up from the south and air so thick you can practically slice it. Early this morning I heard distant thunder and smiled, remembering the thrilling thunderstorms that punctuated the long, stagnant Midwestern summer afternoons of my youth. This nostalgia was immediately followed, however, by the sinking realization that in drought-parched California, where brush is stacked up along the canyons like kindling, lightning strikes can be less than desirable.

Lightning can be a troublemaker, all right. It can start fires, target your house with an electric current that sizzles your electric appliances – and of course, it can kill you.Lightning is not always desirable – but it’s always exciting! No wonder astrologers associate lightning with Aquarius, the sign of this Full Moon, and its ruling planet, Uranus. Aquarius is an astrological change agent that works quite a lot like lightning; a fixed sign, it remains static for long stretches of time, as dependable and unchanging as a placid summer sky. But even while it’s standing still, Aquarius gathers energy like a cell phone plugged into its charger. When it accumulates too much, it needs to get rid of some – and it’s anyone’s guess where it will land.

While the Full Moon flickers incandescently in Aquarius, the Sun is in Leo – the sign that rules the heart, both medically and metaphorically, pumping life-giving blood, love, and creative zeal into the body of humanity. It’s the sign of the artist, the writer, the performer, whose ability to give voice to a creative vision requires a sturdy platform of routine, solitude, and healthy self-regard. But physically, the heart can’t continue to pump blood without the circulatory system – ruled by Aquarius – that disperses the blood throughout the body and returns it to the heart. And metaphorically, our reserves of creative inspiration and love are soon exhausted without an “audience” to circulate our creations and return love and inspiration to us.

The Sabian Symbol for this Full Moon is, “During a silent hour, a man receives a new inspiration that may change his life. “ Where do you find your inspiration? On the face of it, it seems like a question only for artists. What could possibly be creative, we wonder, about getting the kids ready for school or finishing a boring monthly report for work? But is creativity confined to weekend watercolor workshops and writing seminars? Do we have to be Frida Kahlo to be considered an artist?

We’re not all Sun sign Leos, of course, just as we don’t all consider ourselves artists; but we’ve all got the Sun somewhere in our charts, and we’ve all got Leo and its creative urges tucked away in a house of the horoscope. Somewhere inside you is a divine flame of creativity that flares up when you’re excited about a project – whether you’re building a family website, selecting a new color scheme for the dining room, or crafting a custom bookshelf in your workshop. Sometimes the creativity rises slowly, like an errant spark from a dormant, smoldering campfire; other times it’s a lightning bolt of inspiration that awakens the creative flame. And sometimes – usually when your life has become too predictable and insular – it’s impossible to muster any inspiration at all.

Aquarius represents the element of the fresh and unexpected that, like lightning, keeps life exciting – circulating your creative ideas and returning the life-giving blood of inspiration straight to your heart. It can be intimidating to share your creations with an unpredictable, often faceless “audience”; what if you’re rejected? But the Leo/Aquarius ideal is a balance between the personal vision of the individual and the shared vision of the collective; like the heart and the circulatory system, each is essential to the vitality of the other.

At this Full Moon in Aquarius, a lightning bolt of inspiration is headed your way. Just as an artist occasionally receives unfavorable reviews, not all of the feedback you receive for your efforts will be positive. Perhaps, like California, your creative landscape has been deprived of nourishment and has turned a bit brittle. But even negative feedback, however uncomfortable, can be useful – it lets you know that either you haven’t been true to your vision, or you’re hanging out with the wrong crowd. Adjust accordingly – and keep your creative heart pumping.

Is God a stupid fuck?!

(Anyone who follows this blog knows I rarely get into personal stuff here,….my posts are usually about, as Sgt. Friday might say, “the tips, ma’m, just the tips.”  But I decided to write about this particular experience because I have a sense it may hit home with more than a few of you out there.)

Okay, first let me say that it is not my intention to offend anyone with the title of this post. I kept trying to come up with something less “offensive,” more “appropriate,” more “spiritually correct,” but this is what came to me when I first thought about writing it, although I was really just joking around at the time. After all, it’s not the kind of language I’m normally inclined to use. But then, try as I might, everything else I came up with later felt flat or not “right” and I realized my first hit was the only thing that really captured the essence of my story, so I had to go with it….Maybe a little like  an actress doing a nude scene because she feels it’s necessary to make the movie seem more real and authentic?

Anyway, about a month ago I was watching a live webcast that was part of a series on forgiveness by Panache Desai (someone who’s definitely devoted to making the evolutionary process easier for us all). This particular program was about forgiving God/Source/The Divine and I was already aware I had more than a few bones to pick with God and some major forgiving to do. So when we were instructed to vent all our feelings of betrayal, abandonment, rejection, being unsupported, unloved, etc. by the Divine, I happily obliged. I thought I did a pretty good job of expressing and releasing all my pent up feelings so that forgiveness could take place, but in hindsight I now realize it must have apparently been just the tip of the iceberg.

Anyway, I knew at the time I wanted to re-visit the webcast before it was dropped from the series archives, so a couple of days ago I decided to watch it again. But I was multi-tasking at the time and really didn’t get into the venting exercise, so I resolved to listen again later, when I could relax, focus and engage the whole process. But I apparently got a little too relaxed and ended up falling asleep through part of the webcast on this go round. Hmmm, it’s always an interesting development when I go “unconscious” during something, and I took that as a sign that I needed to listen to the whole thing AGAIN the next day, and this time devote my full attention,… no laying down (literally and figuratively) on the job…straight up, fully present and engaged,… and nothing less would do.

So the next day I watched the webcast and once again came to the part where we were instructed to vent/kick/scream our anger and rage at God. Thus began my brief, albeit wild and intense phase of jumping on the bandwagon of God/The Divine being a dumb fuck. I ranted, raved, screamed into a pillow, and opened the lid on Pandora’s box. Somewhere along the way I began sobbing uncontrollably as I got in touch with the times in my life where I felt I had been abandoned by Spirit. The main thing that kept coming up for me was how STUPID God had been for letting things go so far and get so out of whack in my life. Stupid, stupid, stupid ____ was what I kept hearing in my head. What’s funny is, even as I was in the throes of the worst of it, whenever I would conjure up an instance where God had supposedly really been unaware or made a dumb choice in how to support or not support me in life, there would immediately be that part of me that knew what I was saying, thinking and feeling was not only not true but also ludicrous, insane, irrational and impossible, and that it had really been me being unaware or not supporting me every time.

But you don’t want to rush things here.  :-) Cutting temporary insanity short by bringing in truth and the voice of reason too soon can actually work against the process. Surrendering to letting it all out and experiencing the  density of energies and feelings is very cathartic and, given half a chance, will organically bring you to a point of finally seeing what’s true. No need to try and manufacture some “positive” or happy ending; it will happen of its own accord with allowing the energies to finally be expressed and experienced. In fact, by the end of the session the whole thing was starting to seem pretty funny to me and I felt much lighter and brighter. However, I’ve had lifetimes to build a grudge against God and I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s still more there to experience and dissolve, so I plan on listening to the webcast again soon.

The curious thing is, as I surrendered to the fact that it was me, not God, that was the stupid fuck that had created whatever situations I’d been ranting and raving about, you’d think I’d feel really bad (and stupid :-)), but it’s actually been the opposite. Right now the idea of God or me being a stupid anything seems, well, stupid. Hmmm, that projection thing is interesting,…. even when it involves the Divine it is always just about ourselves really, isn’t it?

So, I don’t know if any of you can/will identify with any of this. I think so many of us are, unfortunately, hindered by our spiritual idealism and so used to repressing/suppressing our “bad” or “negative” thoughts or feelings that we can be unaware of or unwilling to look at how we’ve used God as the ultimate scapegoat for all our “missteps.” If any of this rings true for you, then I highly recommend having it out with God asap because a “p. s.” to all this would be something Panache mentioned in the webcast….that our ability to receive in life and to experience true abundance is directly linked to our relationship with the Divine, which, in truth, is really our relationship with ourselves.

Interestingly enough, after my bout with temporary insanity and enthusiastic rendition of giving God what for, I had 3 instances of unexpected income happen later that same day. Now, it wasn’t a lot of money, mind you, and all the transactions/circumstances that generated the income had apparently happened days (and in one instance, months) before. Still, isn’t it interesting to note that I received the income when I did? Hmmm… are you thinking what I’m thinking? That I should have probably gotten pissed off at God much sooner and more often? :-)

# 6 – And some Abraham to end on…

“What better way could anyone spend money than back into the economy which gives more people work? What you call your economy is the exchange of human Energy. And so, think back a few hundred years about what your economy was in this nation. And what has changed? Have more resources been trucked in from other planets? Or have more people, over more time, just identified more things that they desire — and the Nonphysical Energy that is endless and infinite supplies that? We never hear any of you say, “Well, I have been well for so many years, that I’ve decided that I’m going to be sick for a while to allow some other people to be well.” Because you know that whether you’re well or not doesn’t have anything to do with them not getting enough wellness. You’re not using up the wellness and depriving them of it. And it is the same thing with the abundance. People that have managed to find vibrational harmony with abundance, so that it is flowing to them and through them — are not depriving anyone else of that abundance.”— Abraham

From Exhausted to Exhilarated, new moon, Mercury retrograde and other astrological happenings

# 1 – If you missed best-selling author Lisa Nichol’s recent call, here’s a chance to catch another free presentation…

She had so much fun doing the first call, she’s decided to dive deeper into one of the biggest blocks to realizing your dream: exhaustion.  If you’re too exhausted to climb the mountain, how will you ever experience the view?

Exhaustion is deep and debilitating, and it’s much more a spiritual crisis than a physical one. Exactly what to do about it is the focus for her call From Exhausted to Exhilarated this Friday, July 20 at 1:00 pm Pacific time.

# 2 –  Mercury retrograde, a little more on the Cancer new moon, and other astrological happenings from astrograph.com

The New Moon in late Cancer taking place on Wednesday evening, July 18th, is a powerful one. For one thing this New Moon squares Saturn, slowing us down. In another quite significant and yet contrary development, a strongly aspected Mars has come into exact opposition toUranus – making for an exciting, lively and potentially accident-prone time. Meanwhile Jupiter is exactly parallel the Sun and also closely aspects Pluto, by quincunx, triggering the UranusPluto square of these summer skies that is still quite active, being currently less than a degree from exact. Then, too, Mercury has only just recently retrograded, and makes a quincunx aspect to Chiron, bringing a deeper meaning to the transformational tension of this timeframe, one that relates to inner wounding with regard to some important part of ourselves, and, ultimately, to healing in these crucial areas.

Uranus square Pluto, as I have been describing for many weeks now, represents first of all the sudden realization that strikes without warning, regarding some part of our lives that has become dysfunctional, and then a bold move to cut ourselves off from this sense of dysfunction by eliminating the problematic factor. When we do not take action, either through complacency or from fear of the unknown, then the forcefulness of the universe comes in to assist us in making healthier choices, although perhaps in a disruptive way that seems unkind or even cruel at the moment of the discontinuity. This is the so-called kick in the behind that pushes us over to what we eventually can see as what was truly needed. This could refer to job loss, removal of money or possessions, perhaps to relationship adjustment. Sometimes that which we love and refuse to part with must be nevertheless sacrificed. As columnist Cheryl Strayed puts it, “Go, even though he’s your best friend, and even though there is nowhere to go. … Go, because you want to.” Like it or not we must sometimes come to realize that this loss and subsequent rebirth is the beating heart of our time on planet Earth and of life unfolding.

The Sabian Symbol for this New Moon presages a warning: A storm in a canyon. The way for our salvation might be narrow at this time and results might come in a flood, faster than we can easily handle. It is good if we can to move with all due caution. There is, after all, simultaneously a slow-motion effect in these days of Mercuryretrograde and with Saturn strongly aspected in Libra. Also it might be that things will not go the way that we planned, might even come out 180 degrees the other direction. We are seemingly moving fast and strange, but if we can take a moment to reflect there is much wisdom to be found in the turning.

Mercury Retrograde

Mercury went retrograde on the 14th for the next three weeks, all in the tropical sign of Leo. Although returning to direct motion on August 7th, it will be August 22nd before Mercury gets back to where it started when it began drifting backwards, thus escaping its “retrograde shadow.” This means that the usual symptoms of missed connections and mechanical and communication breakdowns might last through to the fourth week of August. The Mercury Retrograde period is a good time for reflection on where we are going and why, and obviously an excellent time for journaling or blogging about interior matters. Mercury aspects Saturn,VenusChiron and Uranus as it stations this evening, so that there is plenty of serious food for thought. Uranus and Pluto, triggered by the event, are still at the first peak of their square, so that we all continue to be feeling their symbolism of radical transformation and active rebellion against established norms. All our relations come into the picture in a poignant way and could bring up painful realizations, since Chiron andVenus are also involved in this configuration.

These are powerful times and the more that we can take the time to stop and think about our situation the better. We might not solve anything but it helps immensely when we can remain as aware as possible to everything that is going on around us, and within us, during this climactic year and decade.

# 3- An excerpt from one of Chellie Campbell’s great posts…

My daily prayer is “Thank you, God, for blessing me indeed, for enlarging my territory, for your hand always being with me, that I bring joy, light, love, peace, prosperity and happiness to all I meet, including myself.” (reworked from “The Prayer of Jabez”).

# 4 – Insights into the Cancer new moon & other astrological happenings…

Cancer New Moon: Become a Super-nova! by

For the Fourth of July, I invited some friends over to view the annual “Big Bay Boom,” a spectacular annual fireworks display over the San Diego harbor. After our BBQ, we were enjoying a little salsa dancing before the show when we heard a loud boom. We rushed outside to witness what looked like an exploding super-nova: The sky was consumed by a pink, yellow and white ball of fire.

Stunned, we waited—and waited–for more. Later, we discovered that 17 minutes’ worth of pyrotechnics had launched all at once. Organizers blamed a computer glitch, yet the systems had tested perfectly just before the show.

It was a harmless enough occurrence, though an embarrassment for the organizers and a disappointment for the huge crowd who’d camped out on the bay to watch the display. But it got me thinking about how vulnerable we are to the vagaries of computers and other electronic devices upon which we rely so heavily.

Our communication systems are far more vulnerable than most of us imagine.Computers, cell phones and the Net are highly susceptible to such things as solar flares and geomagnetic storms (predicted to peak in 2013), viruses, the condition of undersea fiber optic cables, even cyber-warfare.

Now that we are within the zone of the breakthrough Uranus-Pluto square, we must be prepared for anything over the next three years. This is especially true when a faster-moving planet like activator Mars joins the fray. On July 4, at what’s now being called the “Big Bay Bust,” Mars had just entered Libra and was approaching an opposition to Uranus (technology) and square to Pluto (transformation). This volatile T-square becomes exact on July 17-18.

Here is a grand opportunity to become a super-nova and blast through the past.Things may happen suddenly or unexpectedly (like San Diego’s fireworks display!) as we throw off shackles and prepare to soar into a spectacularly liberating new phase of life. Yet, trickster Mercury also plays a role, as it did on July 4. At that time, Mercury had recently entered its unpredictable “shadow” period before it turns retrograde on July 14.

It may be a bumpy ride through early August as Mercury drives backward through the same territory it’s covered since late June. Now you get a chance to tie up loose ends, get clear on your heart’s desire (Mercury is in heart-centered Leo) and shake off doubts and fears so you can take powerful, deliberate action after August 7. Your thoughts carry extra weight during Mercury’s retrograde phase, so keep them positive and life-affirming.

The July 18 Cancer New Moon (9:24 p.m. PDT) evokes the nurturing power of the Mother, bestowing her blessings at the same time as the T-square ignites. Cancer’s message is to care for ourselves and others, to trust that the Great Mother is watching over us and we are safe. Cancer fosters the deeper heart-to-heart connection we are collectively moving toward, so gather close family and friends around you at this New Moon.

This is also a good time to contact your ancestors and gain their strength and aid. The ancestors (whether they are related to you by blood or not) are awaiting your call. Here is a ritual I created to help you connect with those you’ve loved on the other side.

Also, check out my latest Astro Feng Shui mini-video showcasing before-and-after photos of a friend’s home office, which she transformed just prior to the Cancer New Moon. Cancer corresponds to the Family gua (located in the middle of the left wall as you enter the front door), and is related to stability, financial and emotional security and family or domestic happiness.

Activating the Family gua at the Cancer New Moon is a powerful way to invoke for blessings. For help transforming your Family gua ($50), please contact me atsimone@astroalchemy.com.

# 5 – Some words of wisdom from Abraham…

“If you intend to be of assistance, your eye is not upon the trouble but upon the assistance, and that is quite different. When you are looking for a solution, you are feeling positive emotion— but when you are looking at a problem, you are feeling negative emotion.”— Abraham

However, you also get access to tons of other goodies, plus a prayer circle, and weekly programs by abundance expert Mary A. Hall, astrologer Elizabeth Jones, and other visionaries. You can easily cancel at any time. Check out the details here.

#1 – An astrology update and insights from shamanic astrologer Tami Brunk at astrologyforearthrenewal.com…

Once again, a remarkable lineup of astrological aspects has occurred within 48 hours. Uranus stationed retrograde (Friday morning) Saturn squared the Sun (Saturday morning) Mercury stationed retrograde (Saturday night).

This morning (Sunday) Venus was conjunct the crescent Moon, representing the first gate the Goddess Inanna passes through on her descent into the Underworld–the moment where she removes her crown.

Taken cumulatively, we are all invited to “blow the top off” of our minds, to surrender our old ways of knowing, of thinking, of relating to the big picture. We are invited to open to awareness that is much bigger, much more expansive–yet at the same time centered and grounded from the heart and Earth knowing.

Extraordinary intuitive insight is available to us now, with Uranus in the fire sign of Aries, and Mercury in the fire sign of Leo, both moving very slowly right now, so close to their exact retrograde station; felt powerfully as an intensified recalibration of our individual perceptions (Mercury), as well as Collective Consciousness (Uranus).

This morning I received an intuitive insight as I meditated under the radiant spectacle of Venus, Jupiter, the Crescent Moon and Aldebaran all lined up beautifully above the Sandia Mountains. I gave gratitude to the Earth Mama and as I did, I felt the falling away of an old belief about her true nature. I realized I had been projecting old, inaccurate beliefs about Cancer/Mother onto her.

I’d been seeing her as martyr, victim, patiently enduring the onslaught of human foolishness like the long-suffering archetype for Mother promoted by the Christian Church for centuries. I’ve long seen the damage this idealized projection can do to a woman when she is expected to have no sense of self, to be endlessly giving.

It is not okay for her to express rage, to enjoy sexual pleasure, or to take up too much space. Most of all, it is not okay for her to change or evolve. Somehow I’d projected that concept onto Earth as Mother.

This morning I received a newsflash from the heavens (that’s how Uranus speaks to us!) that the Earth Mama, like us, is experiencing profound transformation, and accelerated evolutionary development.

Of course I knew that, but I hadn’t yet emotionally engaged with that perspective. Now I am experiencing Earth Mama as this gorgeous, sensual, profoundly creative, responsive, conscious, and adaptable entity. We are part of her, and can choose to consciously evolve together.

And from Chris Flisher at chrisflisher.com…

Week of July 16th, 2012

The heat has been turned on and the pot may be coming to a boil as the soft Cancer Moon moves through and triggers the conversation with a sensitive touch. Emotions may be open and visible as the collective views point towards global responsibility. Financial pressures may be forcing action with regard to job creation and untested strategies as the weak links can no longer hold. Mercury retrograde adds a level of uncertainty as Mars opposes Uranus and the combination of ambition, aggression, and action in counterpoint to innovation, rebellion and change hold the potential for solving major problems. There has to be an impetus and the motive has arrived.

# 2 – A touching story for you animal lovers (be sure to sign the petition at the end of the page)…

# 4 – I think this latest quote from Abraham will make a great “mantra” for starting my day  :-)…

Free QiGong distance healing, Barbara Marx Hubbard & Neale Donald Walsch, scuba without getting wet, making more money, Raw Burst & Abraham. Wowie!

Nothing like experiencing this awe-inspiring underwater footage from Figi & Tonga  to make the evolutionary process easier. And you don’t even have to get wet! (Thanks to my soul sister Nancy for this tip.)

# 1 – Michael Mohoric is offering another free distance healing session…

This is not a telephone or internet session.  To receive the energy you just sit or lie down and relax on Sunday, JULY 15 from 5-6 PM Pacific Time (PDT) or 8-9pm New York Time (EDT) and receive the energy. Even if you have to be active during the session you can still receive great results. You can read past posts for more details about Michael’s sessions.

# 2 – Chellie Campbell, author of The Wealthy Spirit is offering a free call on Thursday, July 19th…

“More Confidence, Charisma, Clients and Cash: How to Shine Like the Star You Were Born to Be and Make Money Doing It!”

# 3 – The Shift Network is sponsoring a free call with Barbara Marx Hubbard and Neale Donald Walsch…

Barbara and Neale will be sharing their wisdom and guidance that’s so critically important as we seek to be and become our highest vision for humanity.  They will also be inviting new members into the ACE Training program, which I took a number of months ago myself. The call is tomorrow (Sunday) and you can sign up here.

# 4 – Emerald Essentials, one of my favorite health-related companies around, continues to add to the list of cutting-edge products they offer…

They recently created an outstanding line of organic skincare products, and are now getting ready to launch Raw Burst, a whole food source for fruits & berries like no other. My body always tests “yes” or strong for any of their products (they make a great product, Emerald Sea, to help strengthen your body against radiation).

# 5 – Love this one…

“Someone has said, “the Universe has imagined it even better than you have.” And we like to add to that: The Universe got all of its information about what you like from you, and it has remembered every piece of it and has put it together in perfect formation. And so, the things that are on their way to you are so much better than you even know that you want. And as you allow them, the essence all of these things that the Universe knows that you are wanting make their way to you and appear in perfect timing for you.”— Abraham
