# 3 – We’re in the middle of an extraordinarily potent and transformative time period, astrologically-speaking, and to help explain why, here’s some info from Chris Flisher of http://www.chrisflisher.com about…
“The Time of the Signs”
As we enter into an intense period of forthcoming planetary activity we will have the perfect opportunity to see if the outer planets do, in fact, hold sway over our evolution. This poses an interesting question, especially for those who are on the fence about astrology. It may be easy to cast off astrology as silly, but what happens when it is accurate? What happens when you read your weekly report and it happens to be true? How do you explain themes in your life? And how can an astrologer know so much detail about you with a few simple facts about time and place? What then?
Astrologers were talking about many of our current events over two decades ago when we saw the entry of Pluto into Capricorn as a time when many of our biggest, most trusted structures would, in fact, crumble and either be rebuilt, or vanish. Things we once thought of as unshakeable have come under duress and are now falling down. This is classic Pluto in Capricorn activity. Pluto is the great transformer and, when in Capricorn, a cardinal earth sign, we can expect (as predicted) that large structures, institutions, and foundational entities to fall away and are no longer the secure structures we once thought. We have seen this repeatedly over the last decade as the banking industry, the government, the church, and other large institutions have come under much tighter scrutiny as they show their true colors with so much hidden, for so many years. We were duped. However, the truth always prevails. This is a universal fact and not the credo of any religious, political or philosophical view. Truth is basic and common to all. So where does that leave us?
This planetary activity is accompanied by the presence of Uranus in the sign of Aries. Since Aries is a cardinal sign (fire) it sits in a 90 degree angle to Pluto in Capricorn (cardinal earth). If we look at the astrology chart or wheel we see the current lineup of planets. Pluto is at 90 degrees to Uranus. This geometric relationship represents a challenge, or a step up. The 90 degree angle is one of the basic elements of architecture and all human structure. A simple set of stairs are constructed with 90 degree angles. The step is the best way to envision the challenges. As we move up the stair, lifting ourselves, we make progress through work and forward, upward motion. This is astrology.
What is the role of the planets in our daily lives? Many believe that they do nothing, and yet they are the only real constant that we have in our cosmic neighborhood. They have been there forever and their position does correlate with history, cycles, and recurring themes. In their inter-relationship we begin to see patterns that suggest a logical order and a predictable timing of events. When the Sun and Moon move into the sign of Cancer this summer we will again see another 90 degree angle of cancer (cardinal water) to Aries (cardinal fire) and opposing Pluto at 180 degrees. Events are triggered by the sharp angles and again, we take a step.
This is also true when an astrology chart is cast, based on birth date/place/time. Themes do exist in our lives and they are apparent from the time of our birth. We are born with characteristics, personalities, assets and liabilities, all of which, present us with unique challenges and opportunities. Whether we choose to acknowledge them in terms of time and place is the line between what we see as real and that which we see as impossible. When we stretch our minds to entertain that which may appear unlikely, we may be surprised by a universal logic that supersedes our limited view. This is verifiable each and every week as we see events unfold in a pattern related to the motion of our universe. This is the time of the signs.
Week of May 6th
A dramatic week ahead as a new Moon Solar eclipse occurs at 19 degrees Taurus. Eclipses bring all sorts of corrections and surprises our way. This particular eclipse finds fiery Mars, talkative Mercury, and of course our emotional well-spring, the Moon, deep in the middle of the Taurus event. We can expect the rhetoric to be quite inflaming and even hostile. Again, stubborn is the word. Cold, hard facts are immoveable. This is an incredibly fervent area where the problems that brought us here may have come to a screeching halt. The train is coming off the tracks and the responsibility lies in the hands of the large banks. They must be held accountable for the economic mess they have wrought on the world’s financial security. The bubble has been falsely inflated and we may wake up to find that the bubble has popped. What does that look like? How does this machine keep on working? Will there be transparency? How do we repair this?
(For more about this eclipse period and how it may be impacting your particular sun sign, check out Susan Miller’s Astrology Zone, a tip I got by way of Kaneitha at Heavenly Guidance.)

This 45 minute long piece entrains both sides of the brain separately (be sure to listen using headphones) to substantially improve focus and concentration while keeping you relaxed and feeling good. This track is well suited for studying, working at the computer, and reading. It will also begin to regulate sleeping rhythms as a natural side effect of listening to it on a regular basis. The music is the popular The Four Seasons composition by Vivaldi, which has always been a favorite of mine. Here’s what others are saying…

# 2 – Wow, Denmark, way to go! USA take note!
Denmark is no stranger to green energy, but this latest news is something special. With its latest 3.6 megawatt offshore wind turbine up and running, Denmark has just stepped over the one gigawatt wind energy threshold. That’s almost enough power to send a Delorean back in time, and it also just happens to be a full 25 percent of Denmark’s entire energy needs. The government of Denmark isn’t satisfied with 25 percent. The nation is plowing ahead with an ambitious plan to be a whopping 50 percent powered by wind turbines in just eight years time. That’s actually faster than a plan that Denmark itself proposed only last year, which called for only 35 percent of the nation’s energy needs to be met by offshore wind.Building more wind turbines by themselves won’t allow Denmark to meet its lofty goals: going hand in hand with the new construction is a series of energy saving political reforms, along with the adoption of energy efficient technologies. Denmark’s ultimate goal of being entirely powered by renewable energy by 2050 looks more possible, if no less astounding, than ever.Forbes via Inhabitat

TIPS FOR TODAY:
# 1 – Stimulation and insights from Gary Zukav….
CLARITY AND SHARING
What you share is not as important as why you share it. For example, sharing with the intention to impress people with your generosity, intelligence, or good nature is not the same as sharing with the intention to support another with no strings attached, or sharing because sharing with love is healing and natural to us, or consciously sharing with love your presence with others. Your intention for sharing determines the consequences of your sharing and your experiences of sharing.
Clarity allows you to identify your intentions, distinguish among them, and to understand their effects. When you share to change someone so that you will feel better about yourself or safe, you strive to manipulate and control. You pursue external power. This creates painful and destructive consequences. When you share to contribute to Life without thought of self-benefit, or share from your heartwithout second agendas that benefit you first and others second, or share the compassion, wisdom, and love that you were born to share, your frequency increases, you shine brighter, and your choices contribute constructively to the collective consciousness.
You are a micro of a macro. Your soul is a micro of the soul of humankind. This is sometimes called the collective unconscious of humanity, but it is not that. It is the soul of humanity. You cannot change the macro without first changing the micro. You cannot diminish exploitation in the macro while that same energy exists in you. As you change the micro, you simultaneously change the macro of which you are part and to which you are intimately bound. You create the world that you want to see, choice by choice, with the force of your own will applied in the only way that can produce permanent and constructive results – to the conscious and constructive transformation of yourself.
This is the creation of authentic power. The transformation that you create in yourself simultaneously contributes to the transformation of humanity. Clarity enables you to make and understand these transformations in yourself and to contribute them to the world. Ultimately, these are the contributions you were born to make.
# 2 – Here’s a great tip from the Living Clay newsletter…
Teeth Whitening with Clay
I’m truly loving my living clay. One of my success stories using living clay is as a mouthwash. I’ve been using a combination of Liquid Clay and Oil of Oregano. The recipe is below. I started swishing it around my mouth for 5/10/15 minutes once and/or twice a day.
I always wanted to find something natural to whiten my teeth. I tried different things such as baking soda but never have I seen such a dramatic shift. I wish I had a before/after picture. My wife was shocked and wanted to know my secret. My teeth are completely white inside and outside. All the brown looking and discoloration inside and outside of my teeth are all gone. I also saved expensive whitening treatments.
Clay/Oil Of Oregano Recipe: 2 cups of liquid clay (a little bit thicker than liquid clay by adding more powdered clay) Add 15 -20 drops of Oil of Oregano. Oil of oregano is a powerful pathogenic killer. You might feel some burning sensation during swishing which is okay. This means Oil of Oregano is killing bacteria, viruses,…etc. Swish around for 5/10/15 minutes once or twice a day depending on your time and see magic happens.
As a bonus my teeth are so germ free that it feels like I see a hygienist everyday. I also use Clay paste with added oil of oregano as my tooth paste. It’s wonderful. Even so called natural tooth paste in health stores have some ingredients I don’t like to use so I make my own tooth paste and mouthwash. It’s a lot cheaper and healthier. – Moe E.
(Check out my 4/20/11, 11/2/11, 2/13/12 and 4/3/13 posts for more on clay and it’s many uses and benefits, both internally and externally.)
# 3 – And here’s some shocking results from a Dateline TV correspondent on the overload of chemical toxins you may be exposing yourself to….
Complaining about anything holds you in the place of refusing to receive the things you’ve been asking for. Justifying about anything holds you in the place of refusing to let in the very things that you’ve been asking for. Blaming someone holds you in the place of refusing to let in the things that you’ve been asking for. Feeling guilty, feeling angry, it doesn’t matter what you call it; it is a refusal, not a conscious one. You’re asking; you can’t help but ask. The Universe is yielding; it must yield. It’s a big question, folks: why aren’t you letting it in?— Abraham

5/4/13 Note: I tried the 1st recipe the other day and loved it…ate the whole thing in one sitting. The “sauce” is great….could be used on a variety of things or as a salad dressing, especially on a nice, crisp spinach salad. Next time I will make a double recipe!
# 2 – A great tradition! May we all remember our song and find people who are willing to sing it with us, to us, and for us!
A Child’s Song By Alan Dana CohenThere is a tribe in Africa where the birth date of a child is counted not from when they were born, nor from when they are conceived but from the day that the child was a thought in its mother’s mind. And when a woman decides that she will have a child, she goes off and sits under a tree, by herself, and she listens until she can hear the song of the child that wants to come. And after she’s heard the song of this child, she comes back to the man who will be the child’s father, and teaches it to him. And then, when they make love to physically conceive the child, some of that time they sing the song of the child, as a way to invite it. And then, when the mother is pregnant, the mother teaches that child’s song to the midwives and the old women of the village, so that when the child is born, the old women and the people around her sing the child’s song to welcome it. And then, as the child grows up, the other villagers are taught the child’s song. If the child falls, or hurts its knee, someone picks it up and sings its song to it. Or perhaps the child does something wonderful, or goes through the rites of puberty, then as a way of honoring this person, the people of the village sing his or her song. In the African tribe there is one other occasion upon which the villagers sing to the child. If at any time during his or her life, the person commits a crime or aberrant social act, the individual is called to the center of the village and the people in the community form a circle around them. Then they sing their song to them. The tribe recognizes that the correction for antisocial behavior is not punishment; it is love and the remembrance of identity. When you recognize your own song, you have no desire or need to do anything that would hurt another. And it goes this way through their life. In marriage, the songs are sung, together. And finally, when this child is lying in bed, ready to die, all the villagers know his or her song, and they sing—for the last time—the song to that person. You may not have grown up in an African tribe that sings your song to you at crucial life transitions, but life is always reminding you when you are in tune with yourself and when you are not. When you feel good, what you are doing matches your song, and when you feel awful, it doesn’t. In the end, we shall all recognize our song and sing it well. You may feel a little warbly at the moment, but so have all the great singers. Just keep singing and you’ll find your way home. —

# 5 – Joy your way to joy!
“Life is supposed to be fun. You said, “I’ll go forth and choose. I’ll look at the data, and I’ll say yes to this and yes to this and yes to this; and I’ll paint a picture of the things that I want, and I’ll vibrate about them because that’s what I’m giving my attention to. And the Universe will respond to my vibration. And then I’ll stand in a new place where a whole new batch of yeses are available, and I’ll say yes to this and yes to this and yes to this.” You did not say, “I’ll go forth and struggle into joy,” because from your Nonphysical Perspective you know it is vibrationally not possible. You cannot struggle to joy. Struggle and joy are not on the same channel. You joy your way to joy. You laugh your way to success. It is through your joy that good things come.”— Abraham

The event started a couple of days ago, but it looks like you can still access the recordings of any days you might have missed… or want to revisit (I have been listening to each twice so far) Check it out….time for everyone to go “om.” :-)
BTW, I mentioned in a previous post that I recently discovered Sea Clear by Shaman Shack, an organic, unpasteurized, non-GMO fermented kelp chlorella miso superfood (also contains tumeric, raw apple cider vinegar and black pepper) that initially looked very unappetizing to me (it took me 2 mos. after ordering it to finally give it a try), but I ended up absolutely loving it. That it is so good for you and helps w/ detoxing heavy metals and radiation (the reasons I initially bought it) are just icing on the cake. Apparently this recipe is based on what the survivors from Hiroshima and Nagasaki ate to protect and regain their health.
You can get it at Raw Food Worldandit’s on special right now, so be sure to choose the lower price of the product (plus, I just ordered the 3 pack and saved even more). AND if you use code RAWFOOD155 at check out before the end of April, you can save even more with 15.5% offyour entire order. How does it get any better than that?!

# 5 – And if reading about Fukushima and radiation is a little unsettling to you, a little “advice” from Abraham…
It is of great value for you to give your conscious attention to what you specifically want, otherwise you can be swept up by the influence of that which surrounds you. You are bombarded by the stimulation of thought. And so, unless you are setting forth the thought that is important to you, you can be stimulated by another’s thought that may or may not be important to you.

# 4 – First quarter moon and other astrological happenings from astrograph.com…
The First Quarter Moon, taking place early on Thursday morning, traditionally marks a time of increased tension and a phase of difficulty in putting our goal kick across the line. This is a time when, on the highway to the fulfillment of our New Moon desire, the rubber truly meets the road; when we get to see the drawbacks and the limitations to our schemes and dreams, and when the seed idea that looked so good in its abstract perfection must be tested, tried and potentially adjusted in the heat of actual circumstance. With this particular quarter moon, each side of the equation is remarkably strong. In this case the configuration involves Mars in conjunction with the Sun, giving us plenty of contentious go power, and also involves an amplification of the disruptive factor of limiting Saturn in contrasting aspect with tricksterUranus, symbolizing both pushing forward and holding back from our original vision. This is also a period when the urge for relationship is strong, now heralded by the entrance a couple of days back of Venus into its own sign of Taurus. As the pattern of tension represented by this quarter moon perfects, Venusstrongly sextiles dreamy Neptune, bringing idealism, as well as the urgency of Mars, to love affairs and partnership activities, while simultaneously closing in on an opposition aspect to the resistance represented bySaturn. At the same time, Mercury begins to closely conjunct the trickster energy of Uranus. The next few days are interesting, as Mercury, the messenger of the gods, symbolizing communication and mental function, merges with the startling enlightenment of Uranus on Saturday, April 20th. Our thoughts radiate out in all directions toward an exciting but uncertain landing place.By Monday, which is also Earth Day, Venus exactly opposes Saturn, representing practical limitations. It therefore becomes more difficult, and also more lasting, to pledge connection to each other. Over the course of these next few days, a value is placed on limitation itself, as meaningfully embodied in the collective focus of Earth Day for the inherent limits involved with mankind’s extended exploitation of the Earth’s resources. The pressure to move forward with our own inner evolutionary agenda becomes intense as well over these next four weeks, as Uranus and Pluto are closing also on their dynamic aspect with each other, in recognizable closeness of intensity, within 2 degrees, as they head toward perfect fulfillment next month. They come into their exact square on Monday May 20th.Thursday’s First Quarter Moon contains some very appropriate markers for our era. As the Sun and Moon collide in their own twice-monthly square, this time at the endings of the Cardinal signs of Aries and Cancer, the Sabian symbols of their pause for recognition are significant, at the 29th degree of their respective signs. For the Sun ”A celestial choir, singing” and for the Moon ”A muse weighing new-born twins on golden scales” to which Marc Edmond Jones gave the keyword Value — as he identifies this symbol with “effectiveness of judgment irrespective of momentary contradictions on every hand.”The trials and the adjustments to our relationships, and to ourselves, that this crossroads represents are stimulating and also a test of our moral fiber. We are likely to become naturally more aware of where we shine and where, indeed, we are stuck. And this knowledge, like a dual sword, can be difficult and yet also help us to grow in experience, understanding and character. May we be weighed by our higher selves according to our best intentions and not found wanting in the heat of the moment that we now inhabit, we dwellers on the very cusp of massive change.
At the free online Inspiring Women Summit, which begins April 20, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from top transformational leaders like Seane Corn, Barbara Marx Hubbard, and Marianne about how we pioneer this new feminine path together. # 4 – Astrograph.com’s take on the Aries new moon and other configurations. Love the Sabian symbol analogy at the end…
The New Moon in late Aries, taking place early on Wednesday morning, is a special one. It is accompanied by a triple conjunction of Mars, Venus and the new planet, Eris, making a total of six planets in Aries counting Sun and Moon, since Uranus also resides at the 10th degree of Aries in forming square with Pluto. The new dwarf planet, Eris, is a feminine warrior energy, and so is quite a fitting accompaniment for Mars and Venus in conjunction only a few degrees away. We therefore have a distinct focus on relationship now, and a coming together of masculine and feminine elements in pursuit of better connections, both romantic and non-romantic, between us all. Justly is it said that we need each other in order that we begin, as a culture, to truly shine.
With a focus on relationship at the center of this New Moon, the entire lunar cycle that begins with this configuration is colored by it, so that the remainder of April and into May could be termed a “relationship month.” We might want to ask ourselves where we could do more to connect over to the other side of our own particular gender; where as masculine players we might try to adopt a softer approach, and where, as softer more feminine beings of either physical gender, we might — in connection with the masculine — employ more assertive techniques and state our actual needs. In this way we could find ourselves better able to connect with friends, and with partners, and with perhaps neglected parts of ourselves.
It was the amazing psychologist and philosopher C. G. Jung who first formulated that all persons of a typical gender, such as the masculine, contained within themselves an opposite gender part that was desperately craving to be recognized and accepted as a valid piece of the intriguing puzzle of one’s deeper nature. In a man, he termed this the Anima, or feminine soul within, and in a woman, the Animus. These disinherited parts are very commonly projected onto a partner, and the astrology of an individual chart gives insight as to their hidden qualities, and the likely characteristics of the person to whom that individual would be attracted. But it is better yet when these choices are more conscious, and when an integration can take place between these various parts.
We get an interesting picture of this when we examine the Sabian symbols for the Sun and Moon, in contrast with the symbols for Venus and Mars. For the New Moon, “A pugilist entering the ring” — a very masculine image — while for the others “A woman in pastel colors carrying a valuable load” and “An open window, a net curtain, blowing into a cornucopia,” which Marc Edmond Jones refers to as “joyful realization” and “an irrepressible genius for capturing the richer rewards of life.” Together these could signify the enhanced possibilities of an integration between the masculine and feminine sides of our natures.
With Mercury still in Pisces, and in aspect to both Mars and Venus at the time of this New Moon configuration, it is thus an excellent time to continue observing all that we do with regard to our relationship partners. We might be able to catch ourselves in the act of habitual patterns that have outlived their usefulness, or perhaps give each other a break at a moment when we had been about to deny one.
Want a more poetic take on the Aries energies at play?
# 5 – I’ve used this quote from Abraham before, but it’s one of my favorites and a good one to keep in mind, so here we go again…

“We enter a little coffeehouse with a friend of mine and give our order. While we’re approaching our table two people come in and they go to the counter -
‘Five coffees, please. Two of them for us and three suspended’
They pay for their order, take the two and leave. I ask my friend:
‘What are those ‘suspended’ coffees ?’
‘Wait for it and you will see’
Some more people enter. Two girls ask for one coffee each, pay and go. The next order was for seven coffees and it was made by three lawyers – three for them and four ‘suspended’. While I still wonder what’s the deal with those ‘suspended’ coffees I enjoy the sunny weather and the beautiful view towards the square in front of the café. Suddenly a man dressed in shabby clothes who looks like a beggar comes in through the door and kindly asks
‘Do you have a suspended coffee ?’
It’s simple – people pay in advance for a coffee meant for someone who can not afford a warm beverage. The tradition with the suspended coffees started in Naples, but it has spread all over the world and in some places you can order not only a suspended coffee, but also a sandwich or a whole meal.”

“You’ve trained yourself to face reality. You’ve trained yourself to tell the truth. You’ve trained yourself to tell it like it is. So in the beginning, these fantasies feel a little inappropriate, because it’s like you’re fooling yourself. Sometimes people will say, “Well, isn’t this just denial?” And we say, “We hope so!” We hope that you are denying the absence that you do not want. And we hope that you are embracing the presence of what you do. But somehow the idea of denial has become a dirty word to you; like it is virtuous to face the reality of the horror of your own lives. And we would be ignoring anything that did not please us. We would get our eyes on what feels good.”— Abraham
