# 4 – The new moon this month takes place on 3/11 at 3:51pm EDT, at almost 22 degrees Pisces, and here’s an article by Dana Gerhardt of mooncircles.com that provides insight into what that sign is all about. It’s titled Call & Response: Pisces New Moon…
Calling Pisces
Pisces plays the mandolin and wears sky blue shirts that smell like lavender or sometimes roses. When he visits, you might hear snow melting. Tulips and daffodils poke their heads above ground to greet him, while starlings dream of their future: finding a soul mate, nest-building, teaching their young to fly. Pisces’ mother used to worry about him. He’d spend long hours alone in his room. Whenever she pressed her ear to the door, holding a bowl of soup or grilled cheese sandwiches, she would hear strange voices, sometimes sobbing, maybe a violin, or a trilling bird. One year he drew a thousand portraits of clouds. Next year he took up face painting, until every kid in the neighborhood had become twelve fantastic animals. The year after that he spoke just one word: “Ah.” He studied poetry and took long naps in college. Later he tried the corporate world, but missed too many meetings. One day he kidnapped the shipping department and took them to a matinee just before Fed-Ex arrived.
Pisces says that life’s too short and there’s important non-work to do. “Each day listen to your desires and follow them exclusively. That’s the wisdom of flow.” I’m suspicious: “How would anything get done?” His eyes grow wide and mirthful, as if to say “You’ll see when you finally try it!” I’d like to, for when I spend time with Pisces, my worries exhaust into a peaceful sigh, like petals releasing from a tired rose. At night Pisces tells me to sit in a dark room with a single candle for at least two hours. If I stay there long enough, I don’t know who I am anymore. Yet my heart grows as big as the world.
Let your heart likewise expand this cycle. Let your imagination run free. Business can take care of itself. The cherry trees are in bloom. You might be yearning for a little poetry or the delicious escape of a movie marathon. You may get lost in the sound of a symphony or the gentle touch of silk. Can you let yourself drift and dream? Soon enough the Equinox will be calling you to action. Next month brings the Warrior’s New Moon. Prepare now by first drawing closer to your soul.
If you stir dirt into a glass of water, it gets murky. But if the glass sits for awhile, the dirt will settle and the water will clear. Something similar happens to the mind inmeditation, which is another fine way to meet this New Moon. Sit. Come to stillness. Wait at Pisces’ door like an initiate at the gates of a great teacher. Without expectations, enter the void. This is the end of the zodiac; all signs are contained within it. Perhaps you can sense this, how harmoniously Pisces holds everything and dissolves everything, how this readies us for the Aries adventures to come.
Of course, no matter how dreamy we might like our lives to be, there’s always some unpleasantness. Sure as there are fairies making everything right, there are complainers making everything wrong. How do we respond? Pisces can inspire our most saintly self—or our most victimized. When you’re unconscious of its gifts, Pisces will make you whine: “Poor me!” or “Why me?” Remember that unhappy dinner last night? Maybe the sesame chicken was too dry. Maybe the salad dressing was bottled instead of fresh. Or maybe your dinner date never showed up. Pisces only wants you to understand that everything was just perfect.
Pisces’ Response
Waiting for Pisces to appear is the fun part. No way can I predict his costume. But if you find yourself wandering into rooms for reasons you forgot, if you feel the urge to float for hours in the bathtub, or to take a long drive to nowhere, Pisces may be present, trying to get you to pause, listen, and come into this moment, where he promises you’ll find everything. Pay attention to your nightly dreams. Listen to your daytime fantasies. These are the expressions of your soul. Can you read their language? In the weeks ahead, you might find yourself suddenly weeping, overwhelmed with compassion, for the orphans in Kabul, the Libyan widow, the bankrupt yoga teacher, or the tense soldier prowling volatile streets on the other side of the world. This cycle may we all find, on our fragile spinning globe some grace, some power, the hand of sweet guidance. Call it faith or hope; both belong to Pisces. And let’s join with Swami Beyondananda in his prayer to the hot dog vendor: “Make me one with everything.”
And another take on the new moon and the current astrological line-up, this time from astrograph.com…
Monday’s New Moon represents a welcome respite from the emotional entanglements of the Pisces line-up of the proceeding week. While many planets remain in Pisces, including obviously the Sun and Moon, the configuration has changed so that Chiron is not so prominent as recently. Also, with the energy shifting forward, there is now less emphasis on introspection. While the value of living in the dark over this past week has been evident in terms of the insights gained, with this new configuration it is time to make a move toward a new direction.
Of course, Mercury is still retrograde, and therefore still bringing an introspective framework to the planetary conversation in this new phase. Also, Mercury in retrograde aspects Chiron, as do Pluto and Saturn. Jupitersquares the Mercury/Chiron midpoint. The archetype of the Wounded Healer is still very much with us in altered form. I would say that the Chironic impulse, that is the mental reflex to question ourselves and to seek to understand our inner wounding, has reached a more universal level.
There is also extraordinary emphasis on Pluto in the 12th degree of Capricorn with Saturn and Chiron in tight sextile and with the Sun and Moon in quintile to that degree. Chiron with Pluto - and with retrograde Mercury - in this context represents the pain of recognizing how distant as a society we are from cosmic purpose. The ideal of divine love is very much in the forefront of our consciousness, every day. And yet the reality on the ground is very far from that ideal
It is also important to note that Venus, while still connected to retrograde Mercury by a parallel aspect, has moved past Chiron and is now much closer the degree of Pisces where the Sun and Moon collide. The emphasis on Venus, without Chiron and with the Sun and Moon in conjunction, is more outgoing and continues to convey the recognition of the overriding importance of love and relationship in our lives to help to see us through. We might be able, in spite of the many distractions, to sense within us our ability to re-dedicate ourselves to this ideal of cosmic love; the rewards are great for so doing.
The Sabian Symbol for this New Moon degree, the 22nd degree of Pisces, is: “A man bringing down the new law from Sinai.” This symbol, couched in terms that were familiar to the medium who channeled these symbols back in 1922, refers to a new mandate for a universal moral code based on a different system of understanding; therefore to the coming of a more holistic approach to life and living, through the principle of universal love. This has come to be known by many names in our current setting, all reflecting a fundamental changing of the guard.
We live in perilous, fraught, and exciting times. We are witnessing nothing less than the thorough-going transformation of our society, here in the West but also world-wide since we live in what is indeed rapidly becoming a truly global civilization. As a famous sage once said, we must remember that chaos always precedes new birth. So as we go through our difficult days with the recognition of everything around us falling apart, we can therefore take heart: do not dwell on the chaos, but await the birth.
# 5 – And food for thought from Abraham…
“Don’t get lost in the diagnosis, the medicine, or in the statistics about what somebody else did about it. If you don’t feel good, it’s because you’re not thinking in a way that allows the Energy to flow. You could just get really, really mad at someone you love and make every muscle in your body stiff. And you would ask,”Why does my body feel this way?” And we say, because you’ve had a Vibrational tug-of-war going on…Stop looking for anything other than your mental and emotional state of being as answers to why you feel how you feel in your body. It is all Vibrational – no exception! And when you get that, then it doesn’t matter what diagnosis has been given to you – it doesn’t matter – it’s temporary.”— Abraham

# 3 – Wow, never seen or heard of this before. Mother Nature amazes me yet again!
Salmon River Ice circle
A rare natural phenomenon that occurs in slow moving water in cold climates. Ice circles are thin and circular slabs of ice that rotate slowly in the water. It is believed that they form in eddy currents. In fluid dynamics, an eddy is the swirling of a fluid and the reverse current created when the fluid flows past an obstacle.
# 4 – And it’s almost time for another season of Healing With the Masters, my favorite tele-seminar series! And it’s free!

# 5 – And since we happen to be in the middle of a Mercury retrograde cycle, I thought some of you might enjoy this take on what that means. Of course we are always creators of our own experience, but it certainly helps to know the forces at play, if you want to make the most of any situation…
“You cannot restore someone to their Connection with Source by belittling them or by punishing them, or by being disgusted with them. It is only through love that you can return anyone to love. And if you do not have a way of returning them to love, they will always be a problem to your society.”— Abraham

# 10 – Also, here’s a message from Maureen Moss of World Puja about 12-21-12 and support that’s available…
It is with great love and deep respect that I welcome you to the other side of the 12-12-12. Now, on we go to the 12-21-12. This shift is not complete.
The cosmic portal opened on the 12-12-12 continues through the 12-23-12. During this time we are given the ultimate opportunity to be graced with energies and codes of Light through this next and final cosmic opening, different than the 12-12-12 due to the powerful final Solstice of this cycle, and both the planetary and galactic alignments.
If prepared, this window of opportunity will move us upward, again, affording us the blessing to once more expand our consciousness, and present us with an opportunity, to step inside, review, reveal, and course correct whatsoever is necessary to enable each of us to drop our final masks, give up whatsoever trespasses on our Divinity, deposit our fears, and step into the Template of our Divine Natures with our authentic true natures intact, thus passing the initiation that provides us the rite of passage into the New World.
During this time, 12-21-12 thru 12-23-12 we will experience more amplified energies and pushes from many Cosmic Sources, however none so much as from our very own Souls. It is our Soul’s turn to lead, though you must be in alignment, harmony, resonance and rapport with it.
The final impulses, alignments and portals are intended to give one final push to shift the frequencies and harmonics within us, that create a central alignment with the planets, the Great Central Sun, the Star Nations, our Souls and the God of our Being to choose clearly the life we prefer, moving forward. Each impulse and push will open extraordinary vistas for you if you are open, and prepared.
It is my prayer that we have created, that which will prepare you, as it has thousands worldwide.
On the 12-12-12, The World Puja Network, broadcasted to the world, with 6 leaders in Global Consciousness, a World Meditation and Planetary Transmission intended to lead you, with love, all the way through the end of this cycle of 2012 and into 2013.
The messages, transmissions, activations and sound healing were profound, deep, wise and powerful assisting all present to be able to see themselves in a different Light, to be lifted into grander frequencies, and to stabilize the inrush of pure Divine Love and the Light Codes that accompanied them. The personal experiences of change across the world, were and are palpable.
If you were not a part of this global gathering, the entire 2-hour transmission is still available to you on MP3. This event, in its entirety, was created in a powerful Unified Chalice of Love, with one singular intention, to prepare and empower each through the completion of this cycle and into the next. You will be prepared, guided, lifted, supported and blessed.
Simply, click on this link if you wish to deeply experience the upcoming frequencies of the 12-21-12 in a profound way: https://www.worldpuja.org/12-12-12-signup.php
Here you will be able to register and then retrieve the MP3 that will move you with grace, love and ease into The New World, and embrace The New You.
Also, I have included one of our speakers, Barry Goldstein’s sound healings to give you a taste of what was included in this amazing Global Event. Please click here to listen.

# 12 – And finally, the astrology for this first quarter moon phase from astrograph.com is quite telling in regard to the potent configurations occurring at this special time in history…
FIRST QUARTER MOON: Time For Change
Wednesday’s First Quarter Moon reminds us that while we are here for multiple reasons, not the least of which is to grow in our understanding of ourselves and of each other, there are circumstances that inevitably come up to waylay us in that effort and that seem to present impassable obstacles to our journey forward into wholeness. This current configuration emphasizes these potential difficulties, with Saturn - planet of limitation and restriction – looming large. This is the natural cycle of the lunar phases; at first glance the road seems clear before us and then the nitty-gritty details and the annoying practical considerations weigh in, beginning to make the final result of our endeavor so much more complex in its reality orientation than we had originally thought.
This follow-up phase to the potent New Moon of mid-December features a very close Saturn-Pluto sextile that will be nearly perfect by the end of the week, Friday, December 21st, just as Jupiter also comes in to close quincunx alignment with both, a yod formation focused on this Lord of the Future. TheMoon on Wednesday is also conjunct Uranus just as the Sun begins its contact with Pluto, a forming conjunction that will extend into greater strength with the Solstice on Friday, December 21st and grow in intensity over the remainder of this end-of-year period, perfecting on the 30th. We are caught up in the vice of powerful change and we ignore the signals to our detriment, both those of astrological import and those that come to us in the form of tragic current events.
This date of the yod to Jupiter, the 21st, is also of course the date of the storied 2012 Winter Solstice, the Mayan Calendar end date which has received so much attention over the past few years. Certainly according to Western Astrology as well in the Mayan system, we are in the midst of a powerful time of bringing new consciousness into being, in the context of a decade of change. Since media and public attention is more focused, we as a society can benefit now by whatever serves to bring greater awareness to bear on our current situation, which is in fact in desperate need of radical transformation, individually as well as culturally. The very structure of our individual lives, as well as of the society that gives us sustenance, must change in order to survive. This is an extreme statement but one that is called for by the extremity of the times that we are now living through, over these past few years and into the end of this decade of the Turbulent Teens.
With the yod forming from Saturn and Pluto to Jupiter in Gemini, perfecting on the 21st, this end-of-year time, and the year it initiates, is indeed one major focal point of the energy for cultural shift. There is optimism in the Jupiter emphasis, especially to the extent that we can wake up a little and recognize where indeed we are, and who we are. We have a massive opportunity now. We can each one of us become a holographic star point, seeding the cultural transformation that must inevitably follow. When we ignite one candle the darkness recedes by that crucial quantum leap, and we more fully inhabit our true nature as the facilitators of the light.
Enjoy and make the most of this special time, “Zippy”

I featured HWTM as a “pick” in a previous post and hope that prompted many of you to sign up because Season 10 has been the best series so far. If you still haven’t jumped on board, now’s the time because Encore Week, the most exciting part of the season, is coming up December 10 – 20th. This will be the Best of the Best of what HWTM has ever offered; Encore Week is like a season within a season, where they choose the top speakers (those whose special offers and calls were most popular). This is a great way to be exposed to cutting-edge consciousness-expanding information, clearing techniques and healing processes FOR FREE. Improve your health, inner and outer abundance, relationships, career, you name it,… but most importantly, begin to love you more than ever before! # 4 – The Tooth Summit is starting 12/1 and it’s FREE! A great way to insure you start off 2013 with healthier teeth…
This event will feature guests such as David Wolfe, Dr. Hal Huggins and Nadine Artemis, and here are just some of the topics to be covered:
Your teeth are alive and capable of healing themselves from early cavity damage.
When bacteria are removed, and our diet improved, the cavity can be stopped.
Bleeding gums can be remedied, sometimes in 24 to 48 hours.
Gums are easy to heal with dedication and a few minor daily changes.
Toothpaste has chemicals you would not want in your mouth, or your body! (Hence the warning: “Harmful if swallowed.”)
Just stroking your teeth with a toothbrush and rinsing will remove more bacteria and plaque than using a brush with regular toothpaste.
Baking soda is less abrasive to enamel than toothpaste.
Chronic diseases can originate from root-filled teeth.
A “high percentage of chronic degenerative diseases” most frequently heart and circulatory disease and joint diseases, can be traced to root canals.
Dental amalgams leak mercury. If you have amalgam fillings, they may be responsible for the biggest exposure you’ll ever have to mercury poisoning in your lifetime.
Decay is not caused by sugar touching the teeth, but by sugar in the diet.
Prolonged spikes in blood sugar deplete nutrition, and can result in tooth decay.
Free your evolutionary potential and co-create an authentic sisterhood as the foundation for a new world on this free call with EnlightenNext’s Dr. Elizabeth Debold and Mary Adams on Monday, December 3rd, at 5 pm PST/8 pm EST.
# 7 – And a little Abraham to end on…
“If you had one goal, and that was to feel good, you would never again need to hear another word from anyone. You would live successfully and happily and in a way of fulfilling your life’s purpose ever after.”— Abraham

# 1 – Since this particular solar eclipse just happened to take place within 1/2 a degree of my natal sun AND ascendant, I found this information from Jan Spiller’s site especially interesting. Thought some of you might enjoy it as well. And be sure to check my previous post for even more insight into the current new moon/solar eclipse phase.
SOLAR ECLIPSE IN SCORPIO AT 22 DEGREES
This Solar Eclipse will stimulate your desire to accept change and transformation in your life although part of you may be having a tough time releasing the comfort of the status quo. Change is in the air and the Scorpio eclipse will teach us to embrace the responsibility we have to one another on this planet.
Over the next six months you will be learning the empowerment that comes from taking charge of yourself and being accountable for the consequences of your actions. You will be learning the value of taking responsibility for creating your own destiny without interfering with the destiny of others.
The Scorpio Solar Eclipse teaches . . . . .
If you were born 11/12-11/14 of any year, this Solar Eclipse conjoins your Sun and will directly trigger a more potent expression of your creative power. Regardless of your birth date, this Eclipse opens the opportunity to learn how to combine your power with others to create a success that neither of you could have achieved on your own.
The House in your natal chart in which the Solar Eclipse occurs (the house containing 22 degrees of Scorpio) shows the area of your life that will become your primary focus during the next six months.
* Notes on Eclipses:
If you have a natal planet within one degree of the degree of any eclipse, that area of your life is destined for awakening and transformation. A new cycle is scheduled to begin in the area of the planetary urge affected:
* SUN: the way you express your creative gifts
* MOON: your self-image
* MERCURY: the way you perceive life
* VENUS: your relationships, the way you express affection, what brings you pleasure
* MARS: your initiative, your sex drive, and the way you assert yourself
* JUPITER: the way you respond to good luck opportunities for expansion
* SATURN: your sense of mission and purpose
* URANUS: your desires for excitement and aliveness in your life
* NEPTUNE: your idealism, fantasy and private dream
* PLUTO: the way you use power and relate to the challenge of change and transformation
(BTW, Jan’s site also gives details about new moon “wishing” and making the most of the energies at play during this special lunar time of the month.)
# 2 – Another good one from The Wealthy Spirit’s Chellie Campbell, with good advice to keep in mind as we head into the holiday season…
# 3 – Check out this page of people and pets affected by Hurricane Sandy being reunited, thanks to the Humane Society. Maybe make a donation while you’re there?
Prior to the big bang there was Nothing, and from that primordial empty ground the entire cosmos burst into existence. When we enter into deep states of meditation, transcending the personal ego and any notion of a separate self, we sink into that same primordial ground. In those moments, of course, we will experience peace, because that is the very nature of that infinite depth beyond time and form. And such experiences are indeed very liberating for the self. But it just doesn’t make sense that the experience of relief and release from the very process that produced us should be the goal of the luckiest people who have ever been born. Why not? Because the very energy and intelligence that gave us life, that produced us, needs us lucky ones to take responsibility, to wholeheartedly participate in the life process in a deeper and more authentic way than most of us ever imagined possible.
—Andrew Cohen

If you aren’t familiar with Panache Desai, then, at least in my humble opinion :-), you’re missing out. He just revamped his website, so now’s the perfect time to see what all the hub-bub is about. I recommend scrolling down the right-hand side of the home page (www.panachedesai.com) and checking out the 5 min. Heart of Possibility video with Panache and Michael Bernard Beckwith and the simple 10 min free, downloadable Infinite Love & Abundance meditation (wonderful energy and music), just a little further down the page.
Also, Panache is going to be offering a 3-part series on the current season of the phenomenal series Healing With the Masters, which I featured recently as a “pick.” The series just started and you can still catch a couple of the beginning replays. I listened to Guy Finley yesterday and thought it was wonderful. Guy’s a no-holds-barred, tell-it-like-it-is, on-point kind of guy (no pun intended!), who’s precision of words and spiritual insights are pure gold. And I always love the way he and host Jennifer McLean interact. Sign up now and be able to listen to the replay before it expires.

# 3 – Here’s a great take on astrology excerpted from a blog post by Chellie Campbell of The Wealthy Spirit…
“About astrology and palmistry: They are good because they make people vivid and full of possibilities. They are communism at its best. Everybody has a birthday and almost everybody has a palm.”—Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
Astrology has been practiced since ancient days. I believe there is something to it, and I check in with my astrologer about important things. I read the daily horoscope in the newspaper, too, although they are careful to state that it is to be read for “entertainment.” That seems fair, since it would be hard for one little three-sentence overview for the day to be spot-on for everyone in a particular sign. It’s just the sun sign; it doesn’t take into account your rising sign, moon sign, or any other sign that might mitigate the prediction for your day.
But you can get some great affirmations for the day from the astrology section of the newspaper. Read the one for your sun sign—if you like it, you can decide that it is a true prediction for your day today. If you don’t like it, decide that there was a mistake made, or your rising sign makes a different prediction more appropriate for you that day…you get the idea. Then read all the horoscopes for each sign and choose the one you like best as your forecast for the day.
I’ve saved a few that make me feel good when I read them. I pick one out now and again to be my positive astrology affirmation for the day. Then I rewrite them as positive affirmations to add to my list. Here are some examples of affirmations I created in the style of Sydney Omarr, whose horoscopes are published in the LA Times:
1. “You are on the precipice of universal acclaim. Fame and fortune are coming your way today. Be yourself and you win.”
2. “This could be your power-play day. Concentrate on putting forth your best effort. Great success is just around the corner.”
3. “Today is your kind of day! What appeared to be out of reach will be yours. Emphasis on love, friendship and partnerships.”
4. “Good things in store—financial picture brightens. Astrological cycle highlights production, intensity, reward.”
5. “Time to celebrate! Hopes, wishes, desire fulfilled in fantastic manner. Many are talking positively about your talent, personality, and luck. You’ll receive rewards.”
The guiding principle is—if it makes you feel happier, believe it. If it makes you feel worse, don’t believe it.
Today’s Affirmation: “Today is my kind of day! Great success here to stay!”
# 4 – And speaking of astrology, here’s an insightful article about the Virgo new moon and Uranus-Pluto configuration…
Virgo New Moon: Harvest Bounty by Simone Butler · September 12, 2012
My vegetable garden yielded some delicious squash, peppers, tomatoes and herbs, thrilling my novice gardener’s soul. Still, despite regular watering and fertilizing, many things I planted in the spring never made it to fruition. Each morning I rip something out of the earth, bidding farewell to the withered cornstalk, or the brown raspberry bush for which I had high hopes. Such is the nature of gardens—and life.
In the Northern Hemisphere, September is harvest time. We give thanks for the bounty we’ve received and release what has failed to produce. Yet unless we’re planting a winter garden (an undertaking which seems beyond me right now), the soil we most need to cultivate during Mercury-ruled Virgo is in our minds. It is there we must clear space, root out what’s dead, and prepare the ground for future planting.
The September 15 Virgo New Moon (7:11 p.m. PDT) brings this sorting-and-clearing process to a head. Mercury, the planet which rules Virgo, conjoins the Sun and Moon at the lunation. This hyper-mental energy requires placing our thoughts in service of our goals, not our worries (Virgo’s dark side). There may be a strong desire to control the uncontrollable this month. Better to take charge of our thought processes—one of the few things we can control—and practice faith and relaxation as we surrender outcomes to a Higher Power.
On September 19, Uranus and Pluto will form the second of seven exact squares, catalyzing sudden changes, whipping up emotions and offering the potential for liberation. This square occurs just after Pluto stations (on September 17), turning forward after five months of retrograde motion. Pluto’s direct turn adds volatility to the mid-September time frame, as whatever has been held inside seeks an outlet. Because this is the opening square to the revolutionary Uranus-Pluto conjunction of the mid-to-late Sixties, reforms that were seeded at that time will become more urgent, and hopefully more firmly rooted, over the next few years.
This New Moon broadcasts a call from your deeper self to improve your health and work habits, and calls for a close examination of the soil that sustains you. Could your garden use some fertilizing, weeding, or breaking up of tough dirt clods? Most of us are like novice gardeners—scattering seeds, trying different things, not sure what will yield results. It’s time to acknowledge that despite some failures, you’ve also experienced successes, whether great or small, since the spring. Write down these successes and celebrate them. Virgo likes making lists and tallying progress; it also supports regular practice—the dedication which slowly moves us in a new direction. Whether it’s a daily walk, a morning blessing before heading off to work, clearing clutter one drawer at a time, sending out resumes to find a more fulfilling job, or volunteering for a cause you believe in, small acts will yield big shifts over time.
If your planets are being activated by Uranus and Pluto, you may be in for some bigger changes that will revolutionize your life. Email me for a short Snapshot reading ($35) to find out how the current energies are affecting your chart. And, at this New Moon, be sure to clean, clear and activate your Health gua at the center of your home. For inspiration, check out my latest mini-video featuring Cassie and Ben, who used my suggestions to revitalize their health and work. Finally, here’s a Virgo ritual from my book, Astro Feng Shui: Making Magic in Your Home and Life, to help ground and relax you during this high-energy time.
# 5 – More on the powerful new moon from astrograph.com…
Saturday’s New Moon is another in the long series of intense lunations that we have been experiencing lately. This time is especially so considering thatUranus and Pluto are making an exact hit of their long-running square only a few days later, on the night of the18th – at around midnight PDT, later of course to the East. Saturday’s lunation prefigures this later time, so that this weekend and all next week will be powerful. Pluto is also in the midst of making his September 17th station to direct motion, and is therefore far more poignantly configured, while the New Moon makes a strong declinational set of aspects to his partner in crime, Uranus.
We are all – still – really in for it, as the evolutionary pressure mounts yet again. We are likely to see surprising events, and transformational themes, continue to unfold as this climactic month begins to wind down and we turn our collective gaze toward the fall season.
Venus in the sky closely matches Pluto at this time, being just past her opposition to the Lord of the Underworld, planet of dark motivation and deep desire. Venus is also coming up on a square with Mars in Scorpio. These partner planets are therefore powerfully placed, and potently aspected, meaning that relationship issues of all kinds will be coming to a head with this weekend’s star patterns, as indeed they have been in the week leading up to Saturday. We do well to closely examine our motivations at this time, and to do our best to “take back the projection” of our own inner conflicts as they appear before us reflected in the behavior of others.
It is useful to remember as a wise psychologist once said, that you are never angry for the reason that you think you are. Our thoughts in general are suspicious characters that might or might not have an accurate grasp on reality; or at least not on one’s partner’s reality. Jupiter is powerfully constellated now, in aspect to several planets. Mars in particular is so strong at the moment that we might catch ourselves flying off the handle with no real reason; or at least not a reason that we can discern without taking a time-out for more careful study.
There is also a tendency at this time to over-do. Optimism flourishes. But this can be a benefit as well; since it is only by attempting to wildly reach for it that anything major gets accomplished. You just need to be careful about choosing your direction before launch. Make double-sure that you are heading along a constructive path, then throw caution to the winds and go ahead.
# 6 – And to tie in with today’s “pick,” here’s a quote from Panache to end on…
“I Hate Myself | I’m Not Good Enough |I’m Unloveable – Those are the three foundational conversations you’re having on an unconscious level throughout every moment of your life.
The key to changing the world, to changing your life, and to empowering those around you is authenticity – the willingness to be yourself – the willingness to be vulnerable – the willingness to feel – the willingness to live. I’m simply reminding you of who you truly are, supporting you into self-love and acceptance by eradicating the judgement that you’ve imposed on yourself and society has opposed on you.”~ Panache Desai

#2 – Here’s an astrological update for the week from Chris Flisher at chrisflisher.com…
Week of September 10th, 2012
We should continue to be deeply rooted in all Virgo-related themes this week. Orderliness, details, health, and research are all active themes. Mercury and the Moon also linger in Virgo so the Sun has good company. The global tone is that of service to others. Charitable causes may enter the spotlight and be used for political barter. We do have to ask though if the alignment with a charitable or compassionate cause isn’t self-serving in the end? Is there a suppressed reason? Perhaps the rationale is not so altruistic after all. This is the shadow work of Mars sneaking through its ruler, Scorpio. What is the motive of the leaders? Rhetoric can be an easy and empty distraction. Find the motives and you’ll find the truth.
How does this work for you?……see video for extended forecast for the planet.

# 4 – Angela Stacker James is offering a free class in unleashing your creativity…
# 5 – Andrew Cohen on meditation, freedom and letting go of expectations….
“In the way that I teach meditation, the idea is to simply to assume a position of freedom from the very beginning. You’re not trying to create any particular experience. Experiences may come and go, but you are not seeking for experiences. You are just assuming the position of unconditional freedom, without any expectations . You are not trying to make anything happen because you have realized that you are already free. Think about it: If there are no expectations, what else could you be but free? But if there are expectations, gross or subtle, you will be unable to let go. Consciously or unconsciously, you will be convinced that something is missing and that something more needs to happen. If you truly have no expectations, you can let go completely, and then you will always find that you are free right now.”–Andrew Cohen
# 6 – And Abraham on happiness…
“Your happiness is the most significant contribution that you could make. In your reaching for happiness, you are opening a vortex which makes you an avenue for the Well-being to flow through you. And anything that is your object of attention under those conditions, benefits by the infusion of your Well-being.”— Abraham

Season 10 of the Healing With the Masters series is actually a repeat (or “re-pick” :-)) in that it was already featured in a previous post, but I just found out something that makes it even more of a pick (“pickier” ? ;-)) than before, if that’s possible. The series doesn’t officially kick off until Sept. 11th, but there are already freebies happening for those who have signed up. One is a video from Panache Desai (love him!) on letting go of stress and flowing with the Divine (very timely!) and the other is a video with Mary A. Hall on abundance. I also found out that one of the two 3-part series that will be included (a first for HWTM) in season 10 is going to be presented by none other than Panache. As they say in Access, how does it get any better than that?! I can’t believe all this is FREE!
It will be led by Devaa Haley Mitchell and Elayne Kalila Doughty, two amazing women and transformational teachers who have helped thousands of individuals give birth to their dreams. Learn more about the series, which starts Sept. 12th, here.
# 2 – I’m not sure about the accuracy of this, but the information is certainly stimulating (and scary, if you choose to go that route) to consider, especially since it concerns something as vital as our water supply…
# 3 - Humanity’s Team is co-producing with The Shift Network a 12-panel Global Oneness Day Tele-summit on Oct. 24th from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. EDT (15h00 GMT to 01h30 GMT)…
Summit panelists are to include Neale Donald Walsch, Steve Farrell, Worldwide Coordinating Director of Humanity’s Team, Ervin Lazlo, Joan Borysenko, Gregg Braden, veteran U.N. envoy and U.N. Culture of Peace emissary Anwarul K. Chowdhury, futurist Barbara Marx Hubbard, The Four Agreements author Don Miguel Ruiz, developmental biologist and The Biology of Belief author Bruce Lipton, researcher Lynne McTaggart, as well as other luminaries.
A special five-person telesummit panel discussing uBuntu, the classical African worldview of oneness, will include South African Member of Parliament and University of South Africa law lecturer Mathole MotshekgaandAnna-Mari Pieterse, spiritual activist and country coordinator for HT South Africa.
Global Oneness Day was created following a Humanity’s Team presentation to the United Nations of a petition signed by more than 50,000 people from 168 countries appealing to the world body to support the day, akin to Earth Day but intended to inspire awareness and appreciation for our Oneness with God and all of life. The telesummit is free of charge. Click here to register.
# 4 - This is a great one for cat lovers and was a winner of the Golden Kitty Award at a cat film festival…
It’s a two-minute film called “Henri 2: Paw de Deux.” It’s the “existential” tale about a black-and-white French feline and is very clever and cute.
# 5 – Quote for the day…short and to the point….
“The real secret to more is being YOU.”–Panache Desai

It may no longer be available in replay, but Elizabeth Jones’ Astrology for 2012 presentation on MasterWorks Healing’s special series 2012 Is Now: Tapping Into What’s Next is a must, if you have a chance to listen. Even if you’re not into astrology and/or don’t understand the planets, signs, etc., her interview will provide you with great insights about what’s going on now, spiritually-speaking, and clue you in on how best to engage upcoming key phases of the evolutionary process. It would be worth joining the MasterWorks membership site for the monthly special rate being offered just to gain access to this and the other presentations.
Also, Healing With the Masters Season 10 is going to be starting on Sept. 11th and I highly recommend you sign up for that; it always ends up being my favorite of all the free tele-seminar series out there these days. You’ll receive some great bonuses, too, but with guests like Wayne Dyer, Neale Donald Walsch, Panache Desai, Gregg Braden, Drunvelo (no other series that I know of ever has him!), Rikka Zimmerman, and Elizabeth Jones (one of the best astrologers around for providing insight into the energies at play during this exceptional phase of evolution) they are just icing on a cake that already has plenty of frosting. :-) Hmmmm, suddenly I’m in the mood for dessert.

# 5 – With the current political campaign once again bringing the debate on abortion to the forefront, here’s an insightful, thought-provoking perspective from Colin Tipping, author of Radical Forgiveness….
We haven’t been getting much American news here in the UK, so I haven’t been commenting much on current issues. But apparently one Todd Aikin, Representative from Missouri said something outrageous and stupid about rape that, in turn, inflamed the debate on abortion, so I thought it might be appropriate to say something here about abortion.
It is a real pity that abortion has become so terribly polarized. We don’t hear much from people who might wish to find some middle ground, although I am sure that they would be in the vast majority. I do, however, think that in the way we think about it and how we treat people who are faced with the decision offers us a great opportunity to exercise compassion and understanding.
The truth is, neither side can claim to know the answer to the basic spiritual questions that are at the core of the issue. While science tells us all about the intricacies of fertilization and cell division, it has nothing to say about the process by which a soul enters the body, and what happens to it if the pregnancy is terminated.
No one else knows the answer to that question either, and there is very little discussion about it. The churches have their dogma, but they are no better informed regarding the truth than anyone else. Both sides take positions on it based on assumptions that have no basis in fact, but which support their own prejudices.
This is exactly what I am about to do since I don’t know either. All I can do, like everyone else, is come up with a story based on certain assumptions and inspired guesses about how we transition between the spiritual and physical realms through the processes of birth and death.
But before I do, I must say this. Abortion is an extremely important issue and is worthy of our deep consideration on ethical, social and spiritual grounds. There’s no question in my mind about that. So I do not enter into this discussion lightly. I also think that there are karmic implications for both the man and the woman who decide to abort, depending on their motivation at the time.
I am also mindful of the fact that I am a man and as such I have no way of knowing what it is like to have the spiritual responsibility for giving life to a soul that requests to come through. Only a woman knows. Men need to honor this and have enough humility to admit that they are not privy to the same knowledge as women, and should be willing to defer to feminine wisdom when it comes to the process of giving life.
But, that said, I can easily imagine the soul might be disappointed if the woman it chooses to incarnate through says, “No, not right now.” After all, that soul may have given a lot of thought to why that person was the ideal parent to experience life through. It may even have been an agreed soul contract between it and the soul of the mother.
But, disappointment notwithstanding, I cannot imagine that the soul is mortally wounded if the mother says ‘No,’ even if it has already anchored itself in the form we call a fetus. If it was aborted, it would not be extinguished any more than a soul who, as a baby died a SIDS death, or the soul of a soldier killed in battle would be snuffed out. The soul cannot die. It simply goes back home to the spiritual realm, in all probability, no worse for wear but perhaps having experienced something instructive and valuable. And who is to say that the soul did not choose to have the abortion experience in order to balance the energy of having been a woman who aborted a fetus in a previous life.
This is not to say, however, that a woman and her partner who is, or should be, party to the decision should enter into this decision without a lot of careful and thoughtful consideration. There probably was a good reason why that soul requested passage into the human experience through her and this has to be honored.
But the prospective mother has a soul too, and her soul’s wishes need to be honored, as well. I think it is possible that the Spirit World, not really understanding how difficult life can be down here in the dense vibration of the physical realm, can sometimes put too much of a load on the shoulders of a soul who has taken on a body. I’m sure everything looks very easy from up there. I think they also understand that a soul who is in a human body is entitled to say “No” to whatever task he or she is being given at any one time. After all, it is a principle that we have free will and sometimes that freedom is exercised by saying “No” to a soul who is asking to incarnate through that woman’s body.
And it need not necessarily be a total rejection. How often do we say to someone who wants something from us, “No, not now. Ask me again later.” In other words, we might say to the soul, “Thank you for choosing me, but I’m just not ready for this now. Try again later when I am stronger and more prepared. I love you.”
Again, as a man, I cannot say how any woman should go about making the decision, but I would respectfully suggest that it would be helpful to have a conversation with the soul that is knocking on the door. Talk to it and explain why you wish to refuse to be the conduit this time, and let it know that you are truly honored to be asked, and that you love it dearly even though you are saying “No” on this occasion. Wish it well and tell it you hope to connect with it in another way if and when it incarnates. Then, be quiet and listen. Let the soul talk back to you. Maybe it will lovingly release you from the obligation and may tell you why you are so special and why it initially chose you.
Having had this kind of dialogue with you and feeling your love, might be enough for the soul and satisfy its need to connect with you. Maybe, too, it will enable it to move on and find another woman to incarnate through. No harm done. All is well.
(This is excerpted from his forthcoming book, Expanding In Love, A Handbook for Radical Living.)
# 6 – And I love this one from Abraham…
